Nice day here  . . . . but allergies are in full effect.  I hate pollen.  That is all.

 major storms late last night, still cool & wet but due to clear off

well the stone work project keeps growing, from repairing the drive/culvert to goodness knows what!  I'm glad I'll be out today as Bugsy is fairly done with being good and not having access to his domain LOL He went around this morning 'claiming' all the piles of stone and stealing pieces of wood and running zoomies.  Couldn't help but laugh.

I truly cannot comprehend how I will get everything done before going to NY.  DH has called someone to come give us an estimate for our master bathroom.  Why you might ask? Because the shower has a leak.  I know seems a job for a plumber or DH but no he has called a bathroom company, sigh.  I have no ideas as to what we should do with the space and no desire to deal with that at this time.  I swear DH is Martha Stewart in drag

i thought i was done with all the training / presentations but I got conned in to one more this morning. I seriously need some coffee first.

All 3 doggies got bathed and fluffafied last night. I bought this bath scrubby mitt and they were like "oohhhhhhhhh that feelzz gooodddd!" It made my life easier too. Don't know why I haven't bought one before now! It only cost me 90 cents too because I had a coupon. Best part is that it helped loosen up some of the hair. Now I need to brush them out and do up the toe nails.

I'm hungry for some breakfast!

Breakfast was strawberries sans chocolate this morning.

Pollen doesn't get to me, but the extra cat is causing me more havoc than ever, allergy-wise.  He's become very attached to me and likes to be thisclosetome.  I woke up twice with him almost on my pillow.

Can I say that I hate the fuel surcharges every service provider is tacking onto invoices?  We are already getting slammed with higher food costs.  Seems like a business owner can't ever get a break.

One more gripe - my brother is a tool.

Anyway, mountains of work await, so I'd better get to it.

We've got thunderstorms all around our area and though it's going to interfere with a few projects, we NEED some rain desperately.   Yesterday when I was grilling burgers I think 18 drops of rain fell on me so I hope today brings some real rain.

Karen, lol at your description of your DH and his new bathroom project.  Good vibes that you get all the chaos under control before your trip.

Tina, I'm glad Buddy is adjusting but sorry the extra cat dander is doing a number on your allergies.

Julie, I'm up for breakfast if you're buying. :)  

A friend called me yesterday and asked if we had any heavy duty cardboard.  His son has to make a boat that will hold two people and that will stay together long enough to go across a swimming pool.  LOL  Lucky for him we still had the cardboard that our new table and chairs came in so he's going to come and get that.  I told him he had to videotape the competition for me in payment.  :)

Oh, the joy of allergies.  Mine are so bad today that I took an extra benedryl this morning.  And then decide that I wasn't going into the office....OLD building, lots of dust and lots of dust filled paper.  Tomorrow is going to be a very long day, so I decided to skip today.  And Friday I have a return to do so.......

It's like Christmas!   My new ipod came yesterday. (I lost mine, gave up hope finding it, ordered a new one, and of course found the old one two days later ).  Kelly ordered a box of mints that came today...some special kind that are her favorite in the whole wide world !  Also arriving this morning, a couple 20x20 photo prints of flowers!  One for Mom to decorate her cube at work and one for us.  They look awesome 

Tina and Glenda: I have no allergy advice, but I understand having a cat on my pillow and not wanting to go to work.

Karen: Glad Bugs is being relatively good and not alarmed by all the noise.  I'm sure he really wants to go help the guys !

Johhny: Glad Tessy is eating a feeling a better.  My fingers are crossed for her 

W family:  Sorry for the sucky betting results.

Johnny - I'm so glad Tessy is doing better. I'm sure the stew meat helped her gain back her appetite :)

It's sunny and the birds are chirping outside my window and I really don't feel like working today. I'm off to the gym in a few minutes and hoping that will rev up my energy level a bit.

DH grilled a skirt steak last night and it turned out fabulous. I'd never bought one before but the butcher talked me into it. Yum!!
