Hope Kate made it through her 21st safely!

I sent her BB message at 7:30 this morning.  I'm sure she's entering me in the Mother of the Year contest as we speak.

Courtney, I did want to make a slightly off color comment concerning a wet hump day but I figured I'd let you do it. Stick out tongue

Ginger, glad you're ok after the storm.  I hope the next round of them causes no tornado damage.

Julie, I read "robins" instead of robbers at first.  It made your dream even weirder.  lol

Deb, sorry you didn't sleep well.  I kept waking up too but it was because a cricket has taken up residence somewhere in our bedroom.  I wanted to set all the dogs on it but figured that bedlam would be worse than the cricket chirping.  I know they're supposed to be good luck but this cricket's luck has run out at my house.   The hunt will be on after I get home today. lol

Anyone have any recommendations for a good place to eat in Nashville?  My friend is picking me up at the airport there around noon Friday and she's not very familiar with the area as they live about an hour from there.  I'm really looking forward to getting away for a few days and to see her and her doggies.  I've missed Chigger, her little JRT, since she moved.  I've missed my friend too, I should add. lol

Nice to get a few laughs to start my day off right.

I too missed what's going on with Johnny, so need to go back and check. I hope it's nothing too worrisome.

I was all ready to settle in and relax last night and Sassy threw up all her dinner Sad. I can't remember the last time she's done that but it's been ages. I felt so bad for her and then I felt bad for myself as I spent the next hour or so trying to clean it up. I had to get out the mini-rug shampooer that's pretty worthless and then run a load of laundry.

It's gloomy here today and even drizzled a bit when I was driving in. It hasn't rained much over the last few days but just enough to make my car look really disgusting. I'm glad I didn't bother washing it though.

ETA - I hope you're feeling better today Johnny. I think most of us have those moments when we remember the ones we've lost (((HUGS)))

    teehee.

So, today is my last day of work until next Tuesday! Woohoo Easter! DH and I have decided that we are going to do an easter egg hunt with the dogs, except less easter eggs and chocolate and more dog cookies and dog edible food, namely oranges and pineapples - their favourites! hehehe. It's always slightly strange watching our niece and nephew do the easter egg hunt - they are THE most polite children and share their finds with each other and tell the other where some eggs are, etc. I was the opposite of that as a kid....I pushed and shoved my brother to get to the eggs first - I mean, in the end my parents made us share and I knew that would happen, but it was a sense of childhood accomplishment knowing you kicked butt in the easter egg hunt.

*Wet Wednesday* is only slight wet and drizzly here.  If it's gonna rain, I wish it would just do it and get it over with it.  I have someone coming by in about an hour to take some measurements and give me an estimate on converting two wood burning fireplaces to gas. There's a gas pipe just on the other side of the wall from one of them so that shouldn't be a major problem. I had been thinking of pellet stoves but it sounds like they require a bit of maintenance and they have an electrical connection so no power = no fire.
