I have no desire to actually work today. I much rather be outside playing with Ari. Alas, that is not to be, so I'm going to get cracking so I can justify taking an hour lunch to do a 3 mile walk with her.

I was a few minutes late this morning, but I *had* to take a shower.  (My hair had that tell-tale ponytail lump in it...)  It's a gorgeous day outside and it would've been nice to just spend it w/G... but I don't have that option.

Not much to say right now.  Good thoughts to anyone who needs them!

Pretty mindless here today and sleepy despite getting a pretty good sleep last night.  I'm also feeling a combination of hurt and anger at a friend of mine.  Nothing major, just a pattern of behavior with her that I'm tired of dealing with.

Another 4:30 am work day start.  This is killing me, but I am so slammed there is no way I am going to give up my evenings with Riley to work on this crap.

Went out with my girlfriend last night.  We have been friends since we were 2 years old (she lived right next store).  We were giggling up a storm...it was so fun.

WTG Karen and Bugsy!  I imagine Bugsy's on geese like Charlie is on ham.  Excellent job!

Not much else to report, I think we are getting Riley a bike (with training wheels) for her birthday next month.  I am trying to find out that isn't all pimped out with Disney crap.  I mean seriously!!  I found a pink radio flyer one but it's not available for another month or so...totally bummed.

Tomorrow is Charlie's 5th birthday.  I am heading out tonight to find something special for my little man.  Seems pointless because I know what we wants...the Easter ham in the fridge.

Didya check the usual places and do you have a bike shop in town? They typically have a great selection. Wish I could have come with you last night Lisa...giggling and drinking sounds great, lol. You did watch the hockey game tho right?

Tired is a permanent state for me this week. The kitties are doing pretty well about sleeping thru the night but once you have a litter you tend to hear "mew mew mew" even when they are quiet! It becomes a phantom sound thing. LOL!

Good thoughts to all that need them.

Jackie -- I understand so well -- such a thing is such a drain even when you don't want it to impact everything it does.

Tina -- that is a great story.  I am missing an "old dog" myself, but it's just not in the cards at all right now.

I *still* don't have my car back -- I went to pick it up (this is my Cruiser that got smushed by a tree) -- the paint looked great but the wipers didn't work right. (took me 45 minutes to convince them of that).  Supposedly is ready now but I can't get off work early enough to pick it up today -- will have to be tomorrow.

sharon -- I'm not wanting to work either -- man, not at all! *smile*

Karen, that is great news!! Excellent job, you should be very proud. I know exactly how rewarding it feels to finally know that it "clicked" with your dog and you know that all of your efforts have paid off.

Today is my Friday. Thank goodness. Its been a long week already and we've had a messed up schedule with start times and getting home late. I know the dogs are wondering whats going on.....going into work early and not getting home on time when they should be outside playing!

It is downright COLD here today. I went outside in a t-shirt and jeans this morning and froze while I let the dogs out to pee. Strong north wind. feels like winter again! There is a call for snow this weekend. YUCK.

Gina - yeah, Target, Walmart, Toysrus.  Haven't checked any bike shops yet.  I am trying to stay around $60 - 70 since I know she will grow out it in a year or so and would rather spend the money on a bigger bike in a year or so.  I might try amazon and other online places...I have about a month to get it in.

Of course I watched the game - well, really only the third period.  One down - three to go!

I am sooooooooooo tired.

Dear Bugsy, you've gotta be one smart cookie to listen to your momma like that.  (even if she's a meanie for not letting you eat the goose)  KAREN....I thought i told you to get better.  Shesh, obstinate old women...just don't listen do they.   hehe    Suppose i can send you some of my famous johnny healing vibes.  Bet you're feeling a bit better already. 

Sharon, get out there and play with poor little Ari.  At least she'll have a good walk at lunch.

LOL @ Paiges hair.  Just go with the funky look and smell.  Feel a bit crazy.  I wouldn't mind haveing Gracie for the day for some dobe snuggles.....if Tessy's willing to share a bit of me.

Callie....hope you get the cruiser back sooner than later in prime working condition. 

Kelley...suppose we should be lucky we're not in Calgary...just saw on the news they're getting hit with a big snow storm.  20cm thus far and still falling.  That would be enough to make me cry i think.

I'm in my glory now....hockey playoffs.  Bball playoffs soon.  Baseball starting up.   Yeah.....i like a good sports game here and there.  I feel like i'm gonna rip my eyes out if i keep seeing election crap on the TV.  Who the heck actually votes for that donkey Harper.  I just don't get canadians.  Are a majority of us just plain stupid and stunned??  It disgusts me to no end.  Alright....breath Johnny...in....out....in....out.  AHHHH....much better.

I've been really pissy lately, stressed, depressed, everything.  Is there a way to find out if someone placed a curse on me cause i swear that's the only thing it could be.  Maybe i should start smoking the herb again.  LOL

Anyhow, might as well post this before something happens and i lose it all. 

OHHH....and HAPPY BIRTHDAY CATHY.   ....places her over my knee and spanks her ...25???  times.  hehe  Hope you enjoy your day.
