    Wicked Wednesday Chat

Mother Nature has decided she isn't done with winter yet.  Yesterday was rain and wind all day.  In the evening, the temp dropped and that turned to freezing rain and sleet.  Woke up this morning to 2-3" of snow with another 3-4" expected by tomorrow morning.  Still kinda windy but not as bad.  I am just sick of all this. I sent Baily out one last time before bed and he turned right around.  I put his coat on and sent him back out to take care of business.  Then wrapped him in a blankie :)

Day off.  Taking cat to new vet for a new patient exam.  He needs a dental badly.  I swear he has the worst teeth on the planet.  Then to clean and do laundry.  Boss is coming tomorrow, so I better think about that.

Good day vibes for all !

Got about 6 inches of snow here.  It weighs about 4000 pounds and it stuck to the shovel.  Ugh.

I am so sorry for everyone still getting whacked by winter.

OK this is cracking me up - one of the birds is mimicking B's wubba squeak.  I heard it last night and thought he had gone and got his wubba, nope.  Then I heard it earlier and I just heard it again - that is too funny!

I don't really have anything to say - same old, same old

I am very much enjoying my coffee this morning!

I hope Winter finally ends for those dealing with more bad weather.  :(  Enjoy your day off, Mindy.  I feel lucky that my cat has pretty decent teeth.

I'm trying to rearrange my vehicle to allow Gabby a larger crate.  She's all cramped up in hers and this morning I put her in the very back in one of the big dog crates.  She chewed up the crate rug that's been in there for years and years.  Angry

    Naughty Gabby!!

I am feeling sort of foggy-headed today... just wanted to continue cuddling with Gracie this morning.  She's smooth and warm and groany when she's sleepy but content, which is comforting. :)  My little punkinhead.

Getting my stitches out today.  I'm going to make Mr. W take me out this weekend so I can rip my teeth into a big, fat juicy steak.  I'm sick of eating wimpy food.

Birds are TOO funny when they are around dogs.  I miss Hootie SO much ... but  he would mimic everything - he used to mimic Ms. Socks **coughing**!!  Muffin, who was "nearly" deaf for years before he had the ear ablations was also really good at putting you on "ignore" when he didn't WANT to hear you -- and Hootie learned easily to say "Muf-FIN ... COME!" (just like me, in fact LOL) - and Mufferino HATED it.  Muffin would glare at the bird as if to say "That was YOU .... **not** Mom.  I am NOT stupid enough to be called by a )(@#$*) bird!! SHUT UP!"

There were a couple of "squeaks" that Hootie would mimic -- his cage sat on Luna's crate and they were pretty protective of him.  They ALL Mourned him when he passed!

Feel a little bad about reveling in your misery, but... y'alls' pictures of Serious Snow made me feel a heckuvalot better about the 2" we got here this morning!

but, but but ... Nallah -- with a million inches of snow you can't get IN to work, right???  (ducking)

Trust me, tho - I feel your pain. I am originally FROM western NY -- home of the 10' snow drifts.  I can handle the occasionally hurricane, just deliver me from snow! (passing you the Ben Gay!)

lol @ winter! bah ha ha!!

I won't tell you about our weather...of course. I'm not that cruel.

I hope the hammock pad I ordered gets here today tho. The oak tree has leafed out and the hammock's spot in the shade is calling to me!

March snow-heavy, wet, ugly.  I love sliding past turns, scraping windshields when the wipers ice up.  I love my suggestion that I cover the flowers with some leaves so they don't freeze.  I was really hoping to get Piper out to the hunting grounds for a good run, but with this crud, It would take the rest of the week to get the mud off.

I was reading a letter to the editor this morning that pointed out that we as a people, are not facing war, run away reactors, famine.  When we complain about potholes, we have to remember we have roads and cars.

Callie...I wish that were the case. Unfortunately made it inside to get the shovels.

I think we'll be heading out early though...its slow today and I'm soaked from the waist down from being out in the snow. Ugh. Some snuggle time with the puppies sounds amazing today!

DS has been doing a ton of flat changes where the rims are completely destroyed because the driver hit, or drove into a pothole that they couldn't get out of.  Twice this week he's had to have a wrecker dispatched so the vehicle could be moved OUT of the darned holes.  But, with as much snow as we've had, it makes sense that they are so bad......it's a bit like player bumper cars going anywhere tho!

We are supposed to get 5-8 inches of snow starting mid-day.  Guess Ma Nature and Old Man Winter are still in cahoots.......

For those who haven't seen, One Ton was seriously mauled by another dog and needs prayers and healing vibes.
