Bucket List: take 1343234

    • Gold Top Dog
    Bernese Mountain Dog
Pyrenean Shepherd (or maybe an Old English Sheepdog)
    Papillon (probably black and white?)
Sheltie (my childhood Sheltie was the BEST dog!!)
Italian greyhound? (to go with my future papillon, as I think they make a very cute breed combo, lol!)
And, okay I know this isn't a dog breed, but... some day, I want a cockatiel. A really smart one.
Also, Cleo has convinced me that maybe I need a Leonberger some day. Although, considering the fur involved... maybe some day when I also have a housekeeper ;)

Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever (this is a MUST HAVE for me!)

Greyhound (never will happen as long as I have cats though...)

English Pointer and 1000 acres with quail.  :)

Deb, I'm not clear on your choices.  Do you mean you want a beagle?

Jackie, are you going to eat the quail once your pointer points them out?

I would love: a Leonberger.  I also want a big black Lab type mutt who will ride with me in the front seat of my sports car when I go cruising.

See when you said quail, I immediately thought well.....a button quail wouldn't need 1000 acres, they are far too small for that and too cute to get eaten. Sheesh Jackie! LOL. For now, maybe you should just get an inside pet button quail - they are adorable and their babies are more adorable - they look like tiny bumblebees. Generally you need an incubator for them to hatch though.

Button quail?  hmmm, might make nice appetizers.   lol  Sorry, couldn't resist.

LOL  I was thinking the same thing.  I haven't had quail, but I have made pheasant.  Can't imagine there's too much difference.

I hope I'm always able to share my life with an Australian Shepherd.

oooooh - that's a good choice.  There's a woman around here who is in Dobes and Pointers.  Her dogs are nice.  Ahh, I love a dog with a JOB who does it well!!!!

Karen, you reminded me that Ridgies are on my spy list.

    4. Chinese Crested   FH will take a bit of convincing for this one though, he's not really a fan.

We need to share "convince the hubby" tips.  LOL

LOL, I will be sure to share if I ever find one that works.  So far everyone I've tried gets me that "are you kidding me?" look

Jackie, I have never had quail, but I think if you had a dog that hunted and then you made it, I'd be obligated to come try. You know, to not be rude :)

That's why I call you my friend. LOL   They're very tasty, especially wrapped with bacon and grilled.
