Sunny & windy here, expecting a drop in temps.  It's still winter, so I don't expect much different.

Called my friend last night.  His sis has not eloped, so I still have to play dress-up tomorrow.

DS was getting up for work as I left this morning and he is coming down with the flu.  He was also put on the schedule for this weekend, so not sure what he's going to do.  Every single time he has started a new job, he gets sick w/in the first week.  Bizarre.

 Glenda, it is amazing what a bit of warm weather can do for the spirits!  I'm hoping to get some cleaning done this weekend. Between the SO and I being sick, my foul mood as of late, the house has gone to...well you know where. There's also a bunch of random stuff that needs to be taken to the town dump, but I forgot to renew my resident sticker so that I have access to it. I won't have time to get to town hall today. Maybe this weekend I'll get all the stuff in my car and THAT will force me on Monday to get my sticker and get to the dump lol. I think it'll all fit in there. Hopefully it won't cost too much to dispose of the stuff, but whatever it costs it'll be worth it to get it out of the house. I'm really awful at "keeping house". I just don't maintain. I wait until it all builds up and then it's a massive project, blech. Never too late to change though!

I'm feeling hopeful today.  DH was not crabby last night.  YIPPIE!  That's a good way to end the day. Also yesterday I was outside poop scooping & I saw some daffodils starting to peek through the leaf litter.  Between the leafs peeking out from the leaves & seeing the Snow Geese the other day, I just know that Spring is near.

Yes, same here.   It's supposed to be a beautiful weekend.  DH is off today and Monday.  I should have planned ahead and taken off one of those days.  I'm taking care of a friends dog and three cats this weekend so we couldn't have gone out of town anyway.

Annie, I'm glad your DH is complaining less and that you're feeling hopeful.

Karen, I feel your pain.

Tina, maybe it's stress weakening your son's immune system that contributes to him getting sick when he starts a new job.  What a drag.  Hope he's better soon. 

There must be something wrong.  I'm in such a GOOD mood today !!!

Tina, Jackie's probably right -- just getting some 'nerves' over beginning a new job probably skews his immune system.  Hope he feels better.

Karen -- your "one paragraph" was fine.  I fear I'm going to waste a good part of MY Saturday taking the Cruiser in for service.

Tina, have your son pick up that Ocilla......(lots of other letters) stuff.  It is AWESOME for boosting the immune system and giving the body just a little extra boost in fighting things off.  And, have an awesome time this weekend.  You will look totally fabulous!

Not much to report today.  I hurt my bummmmmm and right elbow joint last night working out so not much on the menu as far as activities today.  I might just drink tea all day and watch the rain!

Our weather doesn't look like it'll be improving for a few days. I'd love for it to be nicer but I'm actually not upset that I may have to hang out at home and veg out. This feels like it's been a long week and it was only 4 days. I'm very thankful that it's Friday - yay!!
