Back from the doctors had blood work done in the beginning of the month got the results my potassium is low so going on a pill for that. I asked has it been low any other time he said it was borderline but it was nothing to be worries about. Kidney level is ok but my liver enzyme is still high well one of them is.

Blood pressure was 138/94 this time I was told you are talking both high blood pressure pills aren't you I said no I wasn't told to take both lol. He doesn't know what's causing anything he says I'm the hardest and weirdest case he's ever had and if he had a magic wand he would use it on me LOL.

I was just in the kitchen and looking out the window Indifferent omg tons and tons of little bugs with wings on them flying from the back of the house to the front have no clue what kind of bugs I thought maybe flying ants. Wings on the bugs were noticeable but not really their bodies. My dad says their termites ( like he knows lmao ) but sure hope they aren't. All I know is there was whole bunch I would say over 100 if not even more from the back of the yard going to the front of the house.

Someone send spring away so these bugs go with them lol

Termites and high bloodpressure together sound awful!

I am at the office procrastinating now. Headed to dog show tomorrow to meet potential breeder of futurepuppy. Is it Saturday yet?

    WE HAVE A DATE!!!!!!

    Weeeeeeee!!!!

May 28th, not very far away, but since its all going to be very simple & low key that should be fine.  Stinks that its the holiday weekend, but that's the weekend we have Hannah & of course we want her there, and I'm very certain her mother would not want to switch weekends for this.

    Ok, back to work.... :D

Karen, those aren't the kind of updates I was hoping to see about your sister. Maybe you'll just have to smuggle that pup out and bring her to me.

    I'm eating 50% off valentine's m&ms. Yum! Yes

What is it with cars lately? I had to bring my van in yesterday too. And I forgot my hat in the waiting room so I have to go back today.

Johnny, you must have forgotten - that they use that little flashy thing on you to erase your memory!

Congrats on setting a date, Steph! We did it quickly and simply, too. Engaged on Christmas and married the following May. 5-6-07. We ended up doing a small but fun reception a couple of months later.

I'm glad I don't live in Madison today. Cripes! People are getting crazy. There are even a ton of schools around here that had to close today because the teachers skipped out to go protest.

FOR REAL!  I just read this article and there's so much that concerns me about it that I can't even articulate how scary this is on many, many levels.

Damp and cold and overcast ... generally bleh!  I think I preferred yesterday's downpour.

    Tina, have a fantastic weekend.

Annie, make sure your DH is using the crutches properly.  The late DH had them for a short time and had an awful time, and since I had never used them I didn't realize he was putting too much weight on the part that goes under the arms.  Once someone showed him how to support his weight on the hand part, it was a lot better ...  a little thing they never explained at Kaiser when they gave them to him.

Now I think I'm going to go look for something warm to wrap myself up in.

Tina, have your son pick up that Ocilla......(lots of other letters) stuff.  It is AWESOME for boosting the immune system and giving the body just a little extra boost in fighting things off.  And, have an awesome time this weekend.  You will look totally fabulous!

I must have missed something, but have a great time, Tina!!!!

I gotta say, my mom insisted I take some bayberry tablets (I never saw the bottle, she got it from some herbalist or something) to keep this nasty cold/pneumonia/bronchitis thing away from me.  I can tell I'm sick, but GEEZ, I'm doing FANTASTIC compared to everyone else I know who is sick!!!  I didn't believe it would do much more than the Zicam-type stuff did.  But those things WORKED!!  There was a citrus-y taste to them, so I assume VitC must have been heavily dosed in there.  I'll have to find out the name.

Meanwhile, she just called me at work to tell me something about a lady on the beach who had 5 dogs and that's just too many for one person to manage.... when I said "Uh, Mom, I'm at work, can we talk about this later?"  To which she replied "OH!!!  I thought today was Saturday!"  Ahh, the life of retired people...

Seriously, if they stay gone for weeks can we just fire them? I'm pretty sure that's what would happen to me if I decided to not show up for that long. #^*&!# politicians.

    Congrats Steph!

I took today off work for an extra long weekend (we have Monday off here....in Canada? or at least Ontario....for Family Day).  So I decided that I would bring Timmy into DH's work.  DH was so excited to show off his little boy, it was cute.  Timmy met a bunch of new people and drooled over all of them.  Oops.  We didn't end up staying long, one of the *witchy* owners kept staring at us and following us around as if to tell DH to "get back to work", and DH ended up being right in the middle of something.  So we only stayed for about 15 minutes.  I am hoping to have a day off next week as well, so I will take Sadie in then I think....I will just have to co-ordinate a better time with DH to do it....hopefully it works out.

Tomorrow morning I have warned DH that it is time to tackle the basement and give it a thorough spring cleaning.  He's thrilled.  LOL.  Then in the afternoon we are going to visit Tim's breeder and pet a 10 week old Rottie girl.  I. CAN'T. WAIT.
