    TGIF chat

Wow, this week has really flown by!  Too cool!  And, today I get to go to the real office and play with the big kids.  Tomorrow is back to the morgue, erm, WallyWorld, but today I should be able to do taxes.  And hey, maybe I'll get lucky tomorrow and WW will be busy!  Honestly, I love it when I don't have time to do anything more than visit the bathroom between returns.  The time FLIES!

It's a toasty 11 degrees here this morning.  Supposed to get up to almost 30, and I'm still thankful that we dodged the bullet on that foot or more of snow yesterday.  Snow showers or flurries I can handle, but, getting feet at a time gets really old really fast!

Time to get moving.  Have a great, safe and warm day everyone!

I am so glad its Friday. I almost have us completely dug out, we got 18 inches of snow yesterday. I just have to dig out my grandmothers car today. We have had so much snow in the last two weeks that I think my kids have been home more than they have at school. they said we could get another inch today and tomorrow and possibly another big storm next Wednesday.

I am REALLY glad to see that others in my general area also think that this winter bites the big one and I'm not just being a whiney wuss!

Happy Friday, everyone! Willa did sleep much better last night. Phew!

Jano, I am so glad Willa did well again today and I really hope she sleeps OK tonight too.  That really really stinks about the software though.  Is there nothing else that will open the files or can the client save it in an older format for you kind of like you could with an 07 Word doc and save it in the 03 format?

It used to be possible to save it down. But with CS5 they changed it. It is possible, but it's a pain and you lose any features that are unique to the upgrade. I think it has to be saved to CS4, then opened in CS4 and saved down to an .inx file, which can be opened in CS3.

I got to hear my baby boy's heartbeat today and he kicked the monitor the entire time!  I also got to get an unexpected sono and see him and confirm again that he is in fact all boy!  I think I might start selling some of Devin's old clothes to free up some space and put back some money to buy him some extra things.  The sonographer said my placenta is low and that it corrects itself in most cases and isn't really cause for worry this early but any get in the right place placenta vibes you guys can spare would be great.

Congrats!! The sonograms are so fun. I only got one with Sonja, though. I also had a low-lying placenta with Willa and it did correct itself as I expanded. Smile

No you are not whiney, this has been our worst winter in like 50 years.(i think that is what they said on the news)We have had over 50 inches of snow this month. I don't mind snow but this is just to much.

I'm not a fan of winter, so I am counting down until spring! We haven't gotten any new snow by me and I am A-Ok with that. I'm tired of always being cold! It's so hard to get up in the morning when your all toasty warm under the covers. Doubly hard when a certain retriever is all cuddled in as well.

Tomorrow night I'm off to see Gallagher! It'll be nice to see a little comedy and get out for a bit with the significant other. For now though, I have to plow through some work. I hate the end of the month crap. It's always stressful and nail biting. After Monday, I can start breathing easier again.

re: low lying placenta....mine was actually OVER the birth canal with DS #2 and I did all the C birth classes, etc.  Just before I was supposed to go into the hospital for the last 2 months of the pregnancy, the placenta shifted!  Doesn't happen often when its a central p previa, but mine did, thankfully.  So, yeah, those buggers can move and we'll keep moving vibes heading your wombs way!

Last night when I got home from work, Missy (cat) wasn't anywhere to be found - usually she comes to the back door to greet me then pesters me for dinner.  I figured she was hiding somewhere, didn't give it too much thought and went about my routine.  After about 10 minutes, I heard her crying.  She's not very loud, so it was hard to tell where the sound was coming from.  I finally found her in one of my bedroom closets.  She must have jumped on the pile of sweatshirts when I wasn't looking.  I grabbed my shoes, shut the door, went to work.  DS left not long after me, so Missy was in the closet for about 9 hours.  Fortunately she didn't pee or poop in there.

woke up with a monster sore throat. That is all I need.

Poor Missy....thats happened around here too.  Embarrassed

TGIF everyone!  So looking forward to this weekend!  I'm exhausted and I haven't even had to dig out of snow!  Been working on Asia time for the last two weeks.

Bummer news from work this week.  Our Barcelona trip is cancelled...due to travel cuts.  Hopefully we'll just postpone it to later in the year.  Sad

Sending no more snow vibes.  Sending placenta shift vibes.  Sending get better sore throat vibes.

Tina, I was so worried reading about Missy being missing.  Glad she was just shut in the closet.  Good girl for not making a mess in there. :)

It's a gorgeous day here today and I wish I was outside playing.

I second that notion. I've had enough of this crap. I'm a private contractor, so I have lost lots of cash from the cancellations. I don't want to think about how much really. I hope by the time I have to go to NJ this afternoon, the roads are plowed. Last time, the one after Christmas, two days later, they didn't do too well with the plowing.

We sorta lied to the kid I worked with this morning. We found out that his school is closed today, but decided not to tell him until after he took a shower and got dressed. In my defense though, had he found out before he had done this, he would have gone back to bed, and there was a high likelihood of him not showering all weekend long (and he hadn't since Wednesday).

Morning all,  Today in NW Arkansas we are supposed hit 60 degrees then by tuesday, possible ice or snow or freezing rain.   I know all of you up north are not feeling sorry for us here but.....  Our bestest friends bought tickets for my hubby and I to go with them to see Ron White in person here in Fayetteville, Wednessday night.   We have been trying to work this out for my hubby for several years and this is the first time he has been in our area.   Now I will tell you that when he first came out on tv our phone rang multiple times with friends and family saying you have got to see this guy he is exactly like my hubby (also Ron). :)  My hubby is Mr Entertainment and still makes me laugh with the stories he tells.  This is his 64th birthday present (bday not til the 10th).  My biggest pleasure in life is watching my hubby laugh.   He has a laugh this is so contageous.  You definatley know when he thinks something is funny.  I would be so disappointed for him if we were not able to go to this show.  I know it sounds silly but....can I have some IDog vibes for Wednesday Feb 2 so that the show will go on? Please!!!

That is all but....hugs to everyone!
