I am SO not showing this picture to Grady.  He could very easily jump our fence but I am not giving him any ideas.  He much prefers to go the southern route (under the fence).  :/

Bugsy used to play the back and forth jumping game with the modular couch in our tv room - so glad those days are over

I would think though that now that he knows he can jump a fence a 6ft privacy fence may only pose a new fun challenge

Ditto with Timmy. He could easily jump our fence, but does not know it (yet). He tried jumping it when he was a pup and fell back on his back (he wasn't hurt) and I think that gave him a pretty good scare, he has never tried since. He's also not left out unsupervised should something/someone come along that he just HAD to see. They are just out there to potty really or sometimes for a game of fetch. They laze in the sun outside on the enclosed deck.

I am sitting at work with a 20 pound kitty on my lap.  He's Max the office kitty.  I know, not dog related.  But earlier I had a small puppy on my lap, so I think that works out even.  I do like my job some days. 

BudMan had a very good day today.  He was full of energy and spunk.  The hooligans made their way to the back of the property to play/run the fence with the neighbors.  Buddy likes to go back there too...but it makes me a bit nervous.  He always stays back a bit so as to stay out of the fast lane, as he did today.  But, at one point, when the hooligans left, and came back to me...Buddy stayed to give them a piece of his mind.  Fully satisfied, he came back and laid down.  That's my boy.

My SO is not too good about refreshing the water bowl for Ari (even if its full, I always give her a fresh bowl at meal times - he'll leave it if it's full or near full). Apparently, she will now take a gulp and SPIT it out all over the floor and stare at me. Of course, I freshen her bowl lol.

She has me very well trained. 

Gabby had a light bulb moment today when I was changing the sheets on our bed.  She discovered she can jump on the bed and off and on and off.  I had to put a stop to the fun but I was giggling inside.  This is the first time she's ever been on the bed.  

 Went to Brown Bear carwash today with Tootsie and while we're waiting I hear this growl from the backseat, followed by a low bark. I look out the window and their was a statue of a bear. Tootsie, was protecting me! That gave me a chuckle.

 That's odd about Neiko, maybe it was just an off day for him with other dogs?I wish Ari liked groups of dogs more, but they're too overwhelming for her. She's happiest with just another dog, maaaybe 2 around. More than that and she gets a tad stressed/grumpy. Stimulation overload. Pair her with a favorite doggy friend though and she's in 7th heaven. She recently got to romp around with her bestest pal. Wish that could happen more often!

I really don't understand Ari's love for the white parts of romaine lettuce. As soon as she HEARS me get the bag of lettuce, she flies into the kitchen no matter if she was upstairs. I just made myself a salad and gave the little stinker a couple small pieces of the white part. By her reaction, you'd think I was giving her a steak!

Nikon and Pan were slated to start Flyball tonight, but apparently the facility wants proof of an insane amount of vaccines so I guess that's out. *sigh*

I'm trying to get up the ambition to take abbie up to home depot and work on some obed with distractions. I'm feeling kind of lazy right now tho! Sometimes I wish I had someone who could just give me a kick to the butt
