Tuesday's we're supposed to have training class..

We've got nothing but ice here. It's terrible! Thankfully, we don't have to go anywhere until this evening.

I'm sorry the weather is being such a PITA for some of you. Stay safe. The sun finally made an appearance yesterday and it was fantastic to see, although blindingly bright.

He's been having quite a few seizures and Meg's FH is taking him to the vet this morning.  She posted on FB.

Good thoughts for Meg and Pirate. Poor guy!

We went and did a massive food shopping trip yesterday and I realized we bought nothing in the way of meat, except for one small package of chicken breasts. Whoops! That will last a couple days and I'll pick up some other stuff later. I'm fine with vegetarian meals, but not so much the significant other.

I didn't realize it was supposed to snow again. I never pay attention to the weather lol.

Snowed here, then freezing rain on top of it, no walk, no health club, so guess I'll do my cleaning today instead of tomorrow and go to health club tomorrow.  Bonnie is missing her walk and so am I. DH will have some cleaning to do outside and it is going to be nasty.

I'm feeling bad for meg and pirate. He's having a lot of those seizures lately. I will be anxious to hear what the vet tells them.

Its going to be another very busy work week. Tons and tons of stuff to do.

No snow but some seriously cold temps have settled in for the rest of the week. 

I feel like work is kicking my butt.  I manage a small retail store and it's really two jobs.  I'm supposed to take care of the store and I'm supposed to take care of the customers.  Home Office is launching a new, very intensive "Customer Experience" program.  Basically they want us to coddle and hand hold every customer in the door.  I'm expected to be on the floor doing this as well as observing and coaching my staff, etc etc...... I don't have time !  I'm feeling VERY frustrated and beat up.  You want me to focus on the customers.......then stop asking for all this other crap as well !  There isn't time or staff to do it all excellently !

There.  I'm done ranting.  I'm going to work...........

Wow is it snowing, at this rate the 2-4" will be 6-12"! Going to change to ice/rain this afternoon... think I should have taken another snow day 

Put too much hot sauce on my chimichanga, uh yup that's what I eat for breakfast...

Snowing here, too, at a pretty fast rate.  I shoveled the 4-5" inches off my driveway at 6:00a and by the time I left for work at 7:45, there was at least another 3/4" down already.

Going to an accountant today to have DS's tax stuff from 2009 looked at before we blindly pay the IRS.  Mostly I am doing it for peace of mind.

Just one of those days again!  Is it Spring yet?

I'm going hiking today with my snow boots on!  It's calling for heavy rain tonight so that mixed with the 6 inches of snow that's down already should make things interesting!

Be safe to all in wintry weather again

Made the appointment for Bugsy but it isn't until a week from tomorrow. Of course he's not had a hitch in his step so the time between the appt and now leaves me plenty of time to cancel.  I know I'll have a hard time taking him in if he is acting perfectly fine.

So came home from the walk and the farm behind us (the one that had the errant dogs and awful owner) went to foreclosure a while back has now been bought and the surveyor has determined that the property extends into what is our lot at the moment quite significantly.  Not a big deal except it is right at the corner so it is at the only point that is close to our house. Incredible.  Can't wait to see how this plays out. Currently huge leyland cypress are on our side of a fence that contains the property.  It is the area I have all my feeders and bird bath.

DH says well at least the leylands are their problem. Sigh.

Johnny?  As depressed as humans can get during the dark winter months, I imagine the same can happen to dogs.  Depression can cause physical illness in humans, so maybe it can in dogs too?  I'm just guessing, but it makes some sort of convuluted sense to me.
