Thanks for the hugs!  I've given up for now....unless it really drifts we can get in and out with no problem, and considering that it feels like -6....last time I looked....it can just stay there!  Supposed to rain on Saturday, maybe it'll take the snow with it!

Hugs and good vibes to everyone having to shovel their way out the door or down the sidewalk! I think we're maybe in the 50s here - a little chilly, a little gray, no white stuff but no wet stuff either, at least not right now.

I guess sometime within the next couple of weeks I'll have to give some serious thoughts to taking all the Christmas stuff down and packing it away for another year. I usually miss it, but it's nice to get all the regular stuff back where it's supposed to be.

Julie, I hope all goes well with your surgery.  Fingers crossed that you recover quickly.  I wish I could be there to help while you're recovering but it sounds like you'll have the help you need.

Thanks! I was just talking to a friend whose husband had my dr for the same surgery a few yrs ago. She said the dr was really good and that her husband was up on their roof the next day, much to her dismay and it did cause complications, but it does give me hope haha. I won't be going up on my roof so hopefully all will be well ;p

Julie....just take it easy and take care of yourself or we'll have to nag....a LOT!

Julie - good luck with your surgery tomorrow and when you feel up to it, let us know how you're doing. I totally agree with the advice to stay on top of the pain. I hope you can keep it controlled with pain meds that don't bother you. My BFF doesn't tolerate much either but swears that Tramadol is the best drug ever made.

Julie, good luck and stay off the roof.

I am so exhausted, I guess from the tons of shoveling I did, but I am so bored, from being in all day. I have stuff to do, but I am not doing it.  Luke is very excited, which he is showing by sleeping, that we are going to stay at my friend's with her dog for a couple of days. Maybe I should get on packing our bags for that.

As long as I've been around...hehehe But there's something so special about her you just have to love her like the youngest sister in the family.

Nice to be seen... got a PM from an old friend so I had to come in and read it...figured while I was in might as well pick on Glenda so she knows I still love her and miss her when I'm not around...you know how she gets...she misses my threats of putting her in the bad chair..haha

Holidays were great...now just looking forward to my son going into the Army in April boohooboohoo

she misses my threats of putting her in the bad chair..haha

I think we all miss those threats, not necessarily for Glenda, tho.  Those threats used to straighten many people right out!  (Anyone want to bring back the "beating a dead horse" icon, just to piss off a certain old member named... er, nevermind. hehehe!)
