    It's FRIDAY Chatter =)

Really, I'm not excited it's Friday lol. Actually, it could have come a bit sooner, but I'm grateful it finally arrived none-the-less! I'm looking forward to going down to MA to go see the Tourist movie in the theater with my Mom. I just need to get through today with my sanity relatively intact and all should be well.

I hope everyone is doing well this Friday.

Note to self: Pop Tarts wreak havoc on your stomach, so no matter how tempting they are, do NOT eat them.

    That is all.

Had two days off now it's back to work.  18 degrees right now.  Flurries today, 4-6 inches snow tonight and another 3-5 inches tomorrow.

Did I mention I really didn't want to get out of be at 6 am.  Can my days please start at 7 am ???  That would be much better.

    Yum...PopTarts............

     chocolate fudge pop tarts. mmmmm.

I gave the dogs bones last night because they haven't been out in a while due to it being ungodly cold out. I paid the price though by Lily waking me up 3x to go outside. I finally threw in the towel and got up at 5:30. Never again!!!

After work I have to run home, grab Neiko and head to the christmas wrapping fundraiser thingy we have going on tonight. So, today will be extra long.

It's a balmy 5 degrees here this morning.  Supposed to get close to 40 tomorrow and stay that way for a couple days.  Will truly feel like a heat wave!  May have to break out the shorts.....or not.

I too need to get through the day with my sanity intact....good luck with that.  LOL.

I did finish the ornaments late yesterday.  Now they just need a whole lot of time to be totally dry before they can be packaged.  Hopefully I can get packages out to family by the middle of next week.  Nothing like cutting it a little close.....

Off to take a swim in the coffee and see if that wakes me up.....

Happy Friday (insert happy dancer icon here!)

Ok I have been a GOOD mom, I have gotten Belle out for a walk every day since last Saturday. Of course this is why I KNOW I need something to keep my legs and backside warm so I don't give up. Bellie had a bike run last night, she loves when the bike comes out.

Took Teddi for a short walk yesterday. She is still sore Sad Not nearly as bad, but still not right. I may take her for another short walk today. I think a controlled walk is better than letting her to her wild self. Poor Teddi. Need to figure out a plan B for management for her.

Had about 1" of snow this AM. Of course not enough to warrant the road workers to be out, the highways were BAD this AM. Took me almost an hour to get to work. Of course on top of bad roads we had the ones who forgot how to drive on snow since last year.

Holiday lunch at work today... hopefully they will let us go home after.

Ann, sorry about the snow. If you want a worse scenario, go south. They are calling for anywhere from 1-4 inches followed by single digits and wind for the weekend, mostly Saturday night and Sunday through Tuesday.

    Snow of any kind+south=SNOWSTORM!!!!

The weather morons are practicing their craft and getting people worked up. I can almost guarantee you that there will be no milk, eggs or bread left in a store by Saturday afternoon.

My husband is in for a rude awakening, I want the car in the garage, which means we will be cleaning enough space for it sometime today.

Truley, I know its totally a regional thing, but that makes me chuckle. Here 1-4 inches of snow is nothing really lol. Because my job has me calling people from many different states, I learned quickly that whole towns shut down for a dusting in the south!

I'm impressed Ann. It's really cold out lately, especially with all the wind!

It is SO LOUD in here today. People are practically yelling they are talking so loud. I can barely stand it. I'm about ready to take my laptop and go find a conference room to work in.

There is "chatter" we could get 10" on Sunday.... not from reliable sources so I am on a wait and see. If we get that Sun PM... I am NOT coming to work on Monday. They can just not pay me or let me work from home... so there.

I had a YUMMY bacon, egg whites, and cheese bagel thin from Einsteins for breakfast... YUM!!!!

Julie are we still going to try to do lunch on Thursday when I come your way for Teddi's appointment?

Sharon, the first year I lived here they closed schools and IT NEVER SNOWED! From what I understand they had a couple of huge snowstorms in the 90's, one dropped 16 inches of snow, the other 22 inches, that caught them unaware, it was so bad people were snowed in for weeks while they tried to clean up the streets. UPS which is hubbed here threatened to leave it was so bad. Now all you have to do is whisper snow and they panic. To give them some leeway, there are hills here and twisty streets, and some parts just outside the city are rural. Right now the snow does not bother me, it will be the dropping temps combined with wind.

I have milk, eggs and bread not to mention plenty of food since I shop sales, if need be I can always make some bread. To make matters worse, of the three houses including mine, I think I am the only one with a shovel and snow gear. They truly believe they don't have to shovel, the sun will come and melt it!

My salt and shovel, boots, gloves and hat are already on the back porch. I have plenty of pet food, I will do doggie patrol and yard clean up later today and then work on the garage so the car can be put in. Do you think any of my neighbors are thinking this far in advance? Hell no! If it does not snow, oh well.

A few years ago, I was on a business trip in Ohio.  We had to get to the airport, and there had been a 1" snowfall overnight.  The state was basically closed.  The interstate was the longest parking ramp I had ever seen.  Then I realized that Ohio either didn't have salt trucks or didn't use them they way we do in MN.  My BIL, who lives in the Eastern U.S. was telling us about a place he lived where they put square front push blades on the front of any heavy truck they could, pushed straight down the street as far as they could, backed up and went around that pile and started over.  It had to make for interesting traffic patterns.

I'm going to be in a world of hurt when I have to start getting back up at 6 am and go out in this cold to get my butt to work.

    That is all.
