Mindy, thanks so much for that video! What a great way to start the day. I'm still laughing.
Callie, I got a chuckle out of the way you described the locals. My DS #1 dresses the same way ... parka, hat, gloves - and flip flops. Sometimes it's shorts with long underwear and flip flops. Now personally, I think if it's cold enough for a parka and long underwear, it's too cold for flip flops. If it's warm enough for flip flops, you don't need a parka or long underwear. But what does mom know? Apparently not much.
It's still overcast and dampish, but I don't think there's any rain on the immediate horizon. This would be a good day to finish my cards and get some stuff wrapped. Time has really gotten away from me this year.
Before I totally forget ... again ... if anyone has (or knows anyone who has) a smallish dog named Max who would like a personalized scarf, let me know. About five years ago I ordered a scarf for Max out of the Lillian Vernon catalog. It's made like a human scarf - long and narrow. Red on one side, white with black paw prints on the other and "Max" on one end. By the time I sent for it, Max was already too big for it and it looked goofy on him. So I still have it, in a bag and taking up space in a drawer.
