Mindless Ramblings on a Tuesday

Ok -- stop the world, I need to get off!

David got me home from all the dr. appts, lunch (thank you darlin for working from HOME today so you **could** help chauffeur me). 

We no sooner get in the door, I'm sitting in the "family room" (you know the one with the sink and the tub??) -- Billy comes in, leans hard into my legs for petting and a couple of minutes later he COLLAPSED.

I'll post in health -- he's home, but we didn't find anything out.  *sigh*  Ok -- all the sick stuff just needs to stop!

Another unproductive day at work. I spend more than half my time watching the little ball spin, watching the bar tick tick tick ahead, and re-starting programs and my computer after crashes. I swear when I walk in that building I get sucked in a time warp back to 2001. Their programs and computers are so outdated. So frustrating.

Cathy, I can't imagine treating my mom's sister that way.  Funny thing about Facebook ... I heard on the news the other day that Facebook is responsible for quite a few divorces - as in people posting things they really shouldn't be airing in public and other people finding out.  Are people  really that clueless about how *public* that forum is???

I decided to bite the bullet and go to Kohl's this morning.  I really hate driving to Vacaville, even though I sneak in the back way without using I-80.  Now I like Jose Feliciano as much as anyone, but honestly, if I had listened to five more minutes of "Feliz Navidad" blasting away, my head would have exploded. Now I'm feeling all Grinchy instead of festive, so I'm going to heat up a big mug of tomato soup and veg out for a bit.

I just got an email from the equine rescue desperately looking for foster homes for dogs they're trying to save. Our shelter here suffered such huge budget cuts that they just haven't had the staff to take in the amount they used to and they're euthanizing more than ever. I love that the rescue tries to help and wish sooooo badly that I could help. It stinks to have 2 dogs that don't get along :(

How friggin DARE it snow again?????  I worked pretty darned hard for TWO hours getting cleared what I got cleared.  Some nerve snowing again.  Humf!!

 Weather forecast for Minnesota.  Tomorrow starts at 3F and will be warming to 19F.  Didn't catch the windchill figures, but it could be fun out.  The heater on my service truck at work decided to quit today.  I could see my breath in the truck, after driving for half an hour.  Thank to the fine people at Carhartt, I survived.

Piper spend a lot less time circling in the snow looking for the perfect place to dump.
