I'm a bit dizzy this morning and I'm not sure why. Also, I seem to have re-injured my knee during our killer ping pong games at the holiday party sat night. Those ping pong games are serious business, people fall all over diving for the ball and you actually work up a sweat! Yesterday, I couldn't walk without my knee cracking and shooting some serious pain through my leg. I soaked it in the hot tub then iced it so it's a tad better today. I think I just need to rest and stretch and it'll be fine. Talk about feeling old though - a knee injury from playing ping pong ha.

This past weekend was crazy busy but i got a real tree up! I haven't had a real tree in forever. It's so pretty. Probably too big for my teeny living room, but what the heck, I'm still enjoying it :)

oh my... did injury of said Jehovah's witness result? Yikes! Poor Bevo and Cher... how long and where do they have to be quarantined? What on earth happened after the person knocked?

Woody got adopted yesterday.... see pic:   I'm happy for him, but we will miss him greatly. Got an email update this morning from his new fam, he's settling in well.

The discussion was actually about a bone growth stimulator, and someone, whose name I shall not mention, made a lewd crack, which quite honestly was hysterical!  Sorry you missed out on it!

I've got one better for you.... since we just adopted out "Woody" the mal/sibe mix, BF has been having fun coming up with all the questions he could ask his new owner if he see's her in public. Along the lines of "How is my _______ doing" and "Have you been cuddling with my _________", etc., etc., etc. ad nauseum. Yep.... they had quite the belly laugh coming up with things he could ask her that to the bystander would sound quite, errr inappropriate. teehee

I've been here for awhile lol, today is just a particularly bad day (doesn't help that the forum also contributes to this hehehe). My Mom has always joked I'll be senile LONG before her. I'm inclined to agree *sigh* The sad part is, I've made a LIST of "must do" things, BUT I keep forgetting to check it 

We've had this light snow going on all day. Not really accumulating though. I wish it would. It's so gray out, at least some snow on the ground would look pretty.

Callie, *ouchie* - goodness, you've certainly had more than your share of physical setbacks in the last few weeks. Fingers and paws crossed that everything turns out OK with your eye.

Nice day here today.  It rained all night, but now the sun is out and the streets are full of leaves that blew down overnight. It's actually very pretty, even though our leaves don't have the intense color they do in places farther east of us.

My gimpy knee was giving me fits this a.m. so I slathered it in "Icy Hot" before I left and now I have that nice, minty geezer smell ... like maybe I'm on a field trip with the rest home. Why can't they come up with a rub that has a nice floral smell?

On a serious note, my co-worker is facing euthanizing his favorite cat Odie, who is in late-stage kidney failure, so some peaceful crossing vibes for Odie and sympathy for Jon would be appreciated.

Joyce, there's woodlock, which I think smells a bit like the old fashioned A&W rootbeer without carbination, peppermint oil, which smells like candy canes, and tiger balm.  Tiger balm smells highly of menthol but is very effective.  Maybe you could crush rose petals in it and have mentholated roses?

Tina - I'm sorry for your coworker and will be thinking of him and Odie today.

Callie - I hope your eye doesn't take long to heal. I've had eye pain before and it's a lot worse than you'd imagine it would be.

I had my eye dr. appt today and not only did he bump up my script for contact lenses, I finally ordered a pair of transition lenses for the days I don't want to wear my contacts. The visit took an hour and a half, so I feel like I've missed 1/2 a day of work and I'm so slammed, I want to cry.
