Monday Chatter

I'm going to be missing -- when I went to bed last night Billy went to jump up next to me and he was scrambling so I put my hand under his butt tohelp him and one of us zigged when we shoulda zagged and he nailed me with his foot right in the eye.

I've got a significantly sized corneal abrasion -- and it hurts like fire.  It's big enough that the doctor demanded I come back tomorrow morning to make sure it's healing right or I'll have to go to a specialist. 

Light sears my eyes right now and looking at the computer screen is excruciating.  So as slammed as I am at work I can't go to work either yet.

Just shoot me now please

Saturday night, I decided to sleep on the couch to get away from the SO sawing wood. Sunday night, he put on a nose strip which helped a lot, so I stayed in our bed lol. 

Glad that helped.  :)

I'm not starving probably because I ate too much this weekend but I'm sure that will change in a few hours.

It was in the mid 30's this morning.  brrrr  It should warm up later.  We sure could use some rain but nothing in the forecast.   I need to make the appointment to get Gabby spayed and to have her baby upper canines extracted.  They never fell out and all the hundreds of tug games we've played haven't loosened them a bit. 

I have a ton of invoices to price out and mail so I better get busy.   Have a good day everyone.

We had Devin's 2nd bday party this weekend and it was so much fun!  There ended up only being 4 kids b/c all the others cancelled that day.  There is so much crud going around so it is understandable and I would prefer they not come if they are sick anyway.  Devin was totally in her element at the Little Gym and smiled and laughed the entire time! 

I have been working with her to say her name for months and now, she finally says it constantly, but only in 3rd person.  It really tickles me...I find it hysterical for some reason, and I guess it makes since because I refer to myself as Mommy with her instead of me, but it still makes me laugh.  She sure does know her name now though!  Kids are so funny!

It is so cold this morning!  I put a call into a realtor yesterday and am hoping for a call back today to get her opinion on our house and if it is worth putting on the marker right now or not.  We shall see, but I am hopeful! 

Hope everyone has a great Monday...only 5 more days until the weekend!  Man, I better get started on my Christmas shopping!

I'm really not impressed.  21, feels like 9 degrees and it's almost 11AM.  And snowing????  How the heck can it snow when it's so flipping cold? And today, it IS sticking around.  The tracks I left in the driveway when we left this morning are completely buried now, so I'm guessing that 3-5" forecast is gonna happen.

I like my new PCP.    Cool guy.

Good thoughts/Healing vibes to all who are in need!

This weekend was nice. The Thanksgiving visit to the in laws in Ok. They can go either way but this time the pendulum swung to "enjoyable". Grateful? Yes I am. We did a hayride by horsedrawn wagon on Saturday night...all bundled in blankets...thru the park to see all the lit up Xmas displays they had. Very cool...lovely matched pair of Percheron horses did the drawing. Both my kids were VERY enthused and had stars in their eyes. We came back and the kids did marshmallows on the chiminea...very nice. The Browns won Sunday so that capped off the weekend well. Glad to be home.

I have grooming and training to do this week with Sully before the Dallas shows on Saturday and Sunday. He has competition this weekend so we'll see how he does. He is behaving well for a 7 month old puppy but LAWDY he can be squirmy on the floor stack which is driving me insane. I will have to make a real effort to hit the handling class this week...BUT, it's outside and once he starts shivering he is about impossible to deal with. *sigh*.

Well I am at work for all the good I am doing...The Fibro didnt ease up this weekend and I dont know what the deal is.  Usually it's bad for a few days then lets up.  This time it is kicking me.   Going to try to get a massage today.  That used to help some when I was first diagnosed.  It's really cold here, but no rain or snow.

I can't believe that Devin is already 2!  Happy Birthday!

I have gotten a ton done this morning.  I woke up early & groomed Angel.  We have an appeal of Bev & Cher's quarantine sitting on the judge's desk, & I even made it into work, almost on time.  I've even gotten lots of stuff accomplished here.

Ummm, not good.  What the heck did I miss on this quarantine??
