Very possible that I missed something, but I only know Bev & Cher (unless I'm having a serious blonde moment)

Long story short, I have my younger brother's dobergirl, & his new doberpup, which he doesn't yet know about, while he is honeymooning.  I don't think that I've mentioned it here, just in chat.

He's going to have a new puppy when he gets home? How cool is that? Can we have pictures?

Joyce - I really hope the rain doesn't last thru the weekend. I sooooo want to work at the Cowboy Christmas event and they're going to have to cancel it if it rains :(

I have a headache and I never get headaches. I'm hoping eating lunch will help.

Best remedy ever  . . . . . . . sleep in the guest room.  Works like a charm !!  I have two snorers - Jamison can bring down the house on some nights !!

DH has been sleeping on the couch for about 6 months now. I just can't sleep through his snoring.

My hubs and I tend to snore more when we gain weight...maybe losing a few pounds would help?  I snored horribly when pregnant too.  I can sleep through hubs snoring but have a hard time falling asleep while he is snoring if I am awake.  He always resorts to either ear plugs or a pillow over his head.  I resort to asking him to change positions in the sweetest voice possible and make some excuse up about how his neck is going to hurt b/c of how he is laying so he doesn't get irritated that I woke him up and is happy to change positions too.  :)  I might be evil but it works.  :)

I think I am a glutton for punishment.  Hubs and I refinanced our house a few months ago, and now I am rethinking and ready to put it on the market.  I talked to my mortgage broker and he agreed that all of my reasoning is on track and not crazy thinking...so I am going to talk to hubby about it tomorrow night when he gets back into town.  The thought of selling a house sounds like no fun, although a new house sounds like a lot of fun, potentially.....I guess you have to get past the first hurdle to get to the good part.  The fact of the matter is though, we are outgrowing our house and I figure we might as well try to get a bigger house while there are a lot of choices and interest rates are super low still.  We really have nothing to lose b/c if we can't get what we want to get, we can always stay where we are for the time being.

Just one more day of being a single parent and I will welcome my handsome husband home with open arms and a night of babysitting!

I will try to get some pics.  The little monster is a nervous boy & so far, he hasn't been very receptive to the camera.  I am working on it though.  The pup is a Bevo half brother, who is being rehomed.  I had him over the Thanksgiving holidays, & brother & SIL met him there.  They fell for him, repeatedly volunteered to take him if his owners decided that they couldn't handle him.  His owners picked him up on Monday night, & I went back & picked him back up on Tuesday evening.  So they don't know that they are coming home to a new puppy, but they will be thrilled, nonetheless.

Schatzi has just learned to love Doritos.  They are like crack to her!

Good luck with that. We thought the same thing about a year ago and found that the houses we liked still weren't a great bargain and we couldn't get close to what we wanted for our house. If we'd have found something we liked and it was reasonably priced, we were going to rent out our house until the market turned around. Eventually, It all became a huge headache to even think about and our current house started looking better and better. I hope it's a lot more fun and smooth for you guys.

Doritos are crack to me too. Pass me the bag, please Big Smile

DH used to snore only when he was on his back, but now it's all the time, any position. Ear plugs just don't work anymore. Yes, he does need to lose some weight, but it's a really sensitive subject with him and I'm afraid to bring it up. He is a really picky eater so it's hard for me to cook healthy for him. It's not that he eats all junk food, but he doesn't really like many veggies or any fruit. I'm a vegetarian so we really don't have a ton of meat in the house either. He eats a ton of carbs - we eat a lot of pasta. Pre-kids he exercised more frequently, now it's hard to get out of the house, especially with me working.

Good luck on the house search. I'd love to get a new house, we've totally outgrown this one. But we would have to do some minor improvements, plus so much cleaning and de-cluttering to sell this house, it makes my brain twitch just thinking about it.

Dealership called to tell me that my front tires are in dire need of replacement. The guy swore that they price match with Costco and everyone else and I told him my husband is just the type to check, so I hope that's true. So, add another $500 in tires, plus $120 for the alignment to the price of everything. He also said my front brakes were bad but he was going to tell the service mgr to throw that repair in for free. I'd love to be able to call DH and get his opinion, but he's working. I did check the Costco website and he's right about the price of the tires. Who knew tires could cost so freaking much?  Gah, such a boatload of money and another day of driving this tank of an SUV Sad

Holy cow, I got FOUR tires for less than that!  And they are a 60,000 mile, all season.

Don't ever buy a sportscar. Tires on my MR2 only last about 20k miles and apparently that's the norm for this car too. Apparently they're made to be softer, so they "grab" the road. The guy said I was lucky to have gotten 26K miles out of them. Yeah - lucky wasn't the word that came to mind.

Ah, well then, when I win the lotto and buy said sports car I will be certain to establish a "tire trust"!

Indeed - my sister's run-flats for her BMW were $300+ a piece.  Ick!

Ginger still thinks she has to pee, pee, pee. I'm sooo tired of pee clean up (though we don't scold her as she has a medical issue at the moment). This coupled with Goose's pee issue (made a thread in Training section) makes me feel like I'm mopping endlessly. Thank heavens they are cute.

I have some antibiotic injections here to couple with Ginger's oral meds to see if we can clear up the issue. Obviously we don't expect her to be healed in three days, but some improvement would be promising.

And one more day of work, thank heavens :)

When I started the friday chat i sent thoughts to ginger, i forgot to add Goose so, good pee thoughts to Goose too.
