Just poppin' by to say hi!

    Good thoughts for Fisher.

Deb, good luck vacuuming with crutches, that doesn't sound fun.  Tell Jamison to do it for you!

I don't usually remember my dreams either but lately have been waking up more often during the night so I remember them more. One night, it was all about pink.  I don't even like pink!

Alright back to work and class stuff... ugh.

    Mindy...owie about the repair bill.

Honestly, I have no idea why my dreams turn this sweet, wonderful man into a total turd.  He's a NICE turd in the dreams, but totally inconsiderate, which is not like him at all.  Heck, maybe in my dreams, I'm projecting my less than stellar character on him.......

My dh doesn't snore...but he "puffs" which is maddening. I always just elbow him...he never remembers in the am. My grandfather in law used to sleep with a tennis ball in a fanny back turned backwards...it stopped him from being on his back and that solved their issue.

I have been giggling all morning...some Chuck Norris stuff...and this commercial with Kevin Bacon LINKY

dh and I had a nice long talk last night about some of the stress and things that've been going around here and that is always a good feeling. A lightening of the load as it were. I am glad it's almost Friday!

Good thoughts to all that need them!

Deb, have your hubs wear one of those Breathe Right strips.   Charles snores loud enough to wake the dead and these really help.  The couch is another sure cure. lol   I forgot to pack any of those strips when we were out of town and I was almost driven to sleep in the bathtub at the hotel.

Paige - I keep Fisher and his family in my thoughts and prayers today. I hope the chemo will work for him.

Tina - it was just a annual GYN visit and lasted all of 5 min's and all seemed fine. I do need to schedule my mammo and still haven't schedule the colonoscopy, but geesh, my dance card has felt a little full lately. I have my eye exam next week and then a dental appt the week after. Tis the season, I guess.

Mindy - I feel your pain about the car repairs. Mine is just in for the 25K maintenance and it's going to cost about $260. I'll sure be glad to have my baby back though. They gave me the humongous SUV and I feel like I'm driving a school bus.

Sassy was acting restless last night again, so I put her out and got ready for bed. I let her back in after about 15 min's and she curled up and crashed right out. I think she was afraid I'd leave her out all night if she didn't settle down Stick out tongue

Good thoughts for Lies's uncle, Fisher, & anyone else who needs them.

Paige, how are Cobey & Mayday doing? And thanks for reminding me to get my calendar. I needed that reminder.

:::passes Julie the 2x4 & backs away slowly:::

I had a doctor's appointment this morning, & opted not to go in to the office today. Instead, I came home & took a nap. For those of you who have never slept in a pile of 4 dobes, 2 boxers, 2 doxies, & 2 snuggly mutts....you just don't know what you're missing!

I should try to get a few things accomplished. I'm really not in the mood to do anything.

Sending good vibes to all who need them.

I lost my internet connection for a few days and so now I have to go to Starbuck to connect.  Yumm, peppermint Mocha!

So, I have a new little foster friend in my home.  A little tri colored guinea pig named Vegas.  He came into the shelter in a fish tank with bedding that was soiled and so dirty.  He was fed only lettuce and nothing else.  When I picked him up for the first time he was just so thin, his teeth were so long with chunks of the bedding stuck in them. He also had fur missing from his belly, probably from him biting at it because his tummy is in so much pain with the diet he was on.  I just couldn’t stand to see him like that so I took him home, cleaned him up and put him in an approprate habitat.  He is so friendly considering what he’s been through.  Please send healthy little piggy vibes for Vegas to make a turn around.

Thanks for the thoughts for Fisher.  His owner says if chemo has an adverse affect, they will just help make him comfortable.  They were told w/out chemo they're looking at 4-6 weeks.  AWFUL!

Paige, how are Cobey & Mayday doing?

Mayday is wonderful.  She had something of a scare about 2 weeks ago - her mum brought her to the evet thinking something was just *off* with her - she was shivering and just not acting normal.  All things checked out and between her regular vet and the cardiologist, they have a plan of action regarding pain meds if they think this is going to happen again.  But, so far so good. Mayday is participating regularly in drill/demo teams and it's amazing how good she looks.

Cobey's story is being published in Doberman Pinscher Magazine and the third installment of the story was published not long ago.  I saw him at the reunion picnic in September and he looked good.  She worries about a tendon in his other leg that tries to compensate for his missing leg, so she tries to be careful w/him, but all told seems well regarding the cancer itself.

I had weird dreams this morning, too... 20 or so dolphins and orca whales dancing/jumping out of the water.  Weird.

Be sure he doesn't have demodex - it happens in guinea pigs not infrequently when they're stressed and given poor nutrition.  poor guy!

Very possible that I missed something, but I only know Bev & Cher (unless I'm having a serious blonde moment)

Cars are kinda a block hole money pit.  Every time I go there (even for the simplest thing) they find more problems.  Sat around for 3.5 hours in a cold waiting room.  Thankfully I brought entertainment...Netbook, wi-fi and my Kindle. Smile

Good vibes for Lies's uncle, Fisher and Xebby's little visiting piggy. It's overcast and dreary and it's supposed to start raining today and continue on through Sunday according to last night's weather report.

I think I'll hit the grocery store kiosks later today and start picking up gift cards. My niece really likes Olive Garden, but to actually go to that restaurant I'd have to drive into Sacramento to Arden Mall, which is a nightmare even without Christmas looming.

Joyce, you could order the Olive Garden gift card by phone or by web. Smile

Thanks!  I have to go to the grocery store anyway though.  This clunky old computer loses so much stuff I hate to use it for anything that I really don't want to lose. That's the reason I don't use on-line bill pay except  for the visa where I can just log on to the bank web site and transfer from checking or savings to visa.

Was just thought so you wouldn't have to drive to that area. Have fun shopping. Smile
