There was ice on the deck this morning
I had to block it off for B and his girlfriend's playdate, just too slippery to risk it.
It is the blue-est sky imaginable today, just got back from a nice walk with DH. Toooooooo gorgeous - this is my favorite weather. I was surprised to see that at 11am the ice was still there though.
I have to finish the cleaning later - DH is off to a conference so I'll do it after he leaves.
I am too lazy to post the Bugsy versus giant pumpkin pics here - so they are on FB if any one wants to see it.
The clock changes always effect my stomach more than anything - I am hungry at the wrong times. It will be nice to have it a bit brighter in the mornings but I hate the dark evenings. Ah well.
Glenda sorry about your shoulder - I hope it begins to feel better today. Griff sorry about your stress.
The Zenyatta race was wonderful to watch, her finish is extraordinary. I did find myself anxious as she made her way through the paddocks (not sure if that's the right word), it was so noisy and she was doing weird stuff with her footing that kept me anxious she'd hurt herself. I was sad she didn't win but mostly overpowered watching her blow by so many. What a fabulous heart she has! I could watch that finish over and over and get chills everytime.
Speaking of fabulous, my niece who I have mentioned before has had an amazing cross country season again. She won her regionals and yesterday came in 10th in the state - she's a sophomore and apparently 8-10 were so close it took several reviews to choose the order. She's still so tiny but super tough and her strength is hills and closing. She loves to run from behind. Love it - really love it. My nephews ( and sister) attended - the boys are so funny. The 21 yr old ran as much as he could along with her, cutting through a couple of spots to stay with her and cheer her on. They are both such awesome brothers to her - great kids all of them.
OK feels like time for a snack LOL
