Got Friday on my mind! (-less chatter)

 I can't wait till Saturday is here!! It will be sad (maybe), but bittersweet.

I also got the dishes done, a few loads of laundry done, did some vacuuming and cleaned part of the bathroom. Big night! I hardly feel like I made a dent though. I called a cleaning co off craigslist and they want $40 per hour for 2 ppl (2 hrs likely) and to use all of my supplies. That seems....odd. So my search will continue.

I'm going to work early today. That happens maybe twice a year. Maybe I'm on a roll ;p

Yawn...stretch.....

Sitting here throwing a ball over my shoulder, giving the occasion butt scritches and drinking my coffee. I do not have to be anywhere, why am I up?

Brrr...24 degrees now.  High of 55 and sunny later.  Let me just say, my remote starter for the car is the best thing ever !  Plus, I cleaned the garage yesterday and won't have to scrape my windows.

Election judge training last night.  Bowling tonight.  I do have Sunday off.  I will look forward to that.

I have a crap of work to get done today, but it's FRIDAY and finally the end of the month. So, while I'll be scrambling at least I know at the end of the day today (well tomorrow morning, since I'll be putting in some work time then), it'll be done and I can breath a bit easier until the end of next month 

I need to food shop tonight. I went to get breakfast and realized I have nothing, not even the staples (bread, milk, eggs...). Maybe I'll pick up nacho fixings and make those for dinner tonight, with beer. That sounds good. I wish the food shopping would take care of itself though.

My house and Jamison are pretty much de-skunked.

Deb, that would suck being off your feet for the next few weeks and being stuck in a stinky house with a stinky dog.

Tried to watch the local news last night and counted an average of 5 campaign ads in between each segment.  The up-side to not having a landline anymore is that I'm not getting robo-calls.

Chilly here this morning but not like some of you guys.  It's supposed to be a beautiful weekend.   I made some pumpkin muffins last night and they were tasty but needed more pumpkin flavor.  I'll have to play around with the recipe next time.  Tasty for breakfast with coffee.

Julie, good job getting so much done last night.  I need to bathe Gabby and Rex tonight.  They were rolling in the yard yesterday and I forgot that I had the hose dripping on one of my lemon trees. 

I've got the office to myself for the next week.  Yay!

morning all.  Feel like I've already put in a full day!  Dogs, took Todd to work, ran a couple quick errands while I was out......

I may or may not be called to help Todd out at the station later on either with the auction they are doing or the parade.  In a way, I keep volunteering and am never needed so feel a bit left out, but, on the other hand........

I think Fall has returned with a vengence.  Chilly, chilly!

My FH got up early this morning and went for a run without me, that was nice of him (not.)

I keep checking my mail (we've got something special coming!!) and all I get are political advertisements. I wonder if the mailman will take 'em back if I leave them there long enough.

I need to go buy some of that newspaper paper for packing my fragile stuff. I want to get the liquor cabinet all packed up today, and some of the dishes too.

Check with your local newspaper.  If they do the printing locally, they often sell roll ends for next to nothing.  And it's better than the crap UHaul sells for ridiculous amounts of money....heavier.  Not a big deal to take a razor knife and do a deep slice down the side of the roll for some pieces.

Awesome, Julie, that you did so much!  I feel inspired to strip the bed and get housework ROLLING!! One might assume you're starting to feel better, but I suspect you're the kind of woman who would do all that and still be sick as a dog, but DETERMINED to get everything done.  How are you feeling??

It did get chilly here again.  Was 70 and humid the last couple of days- I was out in a t-shirt or tank top both days.  Today I'm wrapped up in a heavy sweatshirt and thinking slippers for the house rather than barefoot.

My friends I'm staying with are at the hospital down in Boston right now.  Today is the big day- hip replacement surgery for my friend starts at 11am.  Spare a good wish for her and the doctor/nurses taking care of her?  My friend M has real sensitivities to medications - prednisone brought out a frightening reaction a few years ago - so I'm praying that every step along the way goes smoothly so she doesn't go through that again.

 I am on the mend Paige, thank you for asking! I just have a lingering cough and sinus congestion but otherwise I'm energetic enough to get a few things going now.

I hope your friends surgery goes well.

I'm busting out my fall / winter clothes now. Today I'm in a snuggly soft velvety purple zip hoody. *love* I do love fall weather clothes.

It's chilly here- and I like it. It feels more like fall. Yesterday it was in the 70's, which was great, but I enjoy cold weather. I cannot wait for it to get really cold (like, ice and snow). Yeah, I'm crazy, lol.

I'm off to work. I have a new client who's a real PITA. She treats me, her nanny, and her house cleaner like crap (but pays really good, lol); she likes to talk down to us, calling us "hired help" to her friends when they're over for lunch. UGH. Her and her husband are beyond loaded, so I don't mind charging her for every. little. thing. No free or reduced favors for her (which I do often for good clients).
