I actually have a coat that's way older than that one, but white wool with a mink collar just doesn't go with the uniform of the day - jeans and tees.

That mink collar will cause PETA to be all over you.

I actually have a snowmobile suit that I got when I was 12.  My mom was fond of buying things larger so they'd last longer than one winter.  It's a JC Penney women's large suit from 1979.  The only thing I ever had to replace was the zipper.  I still wear it (when I have a dog to walk) because it still fits and it's warm.

Tina, don't worry about Joyce getting harassed by PETA.  Worry about me killing you for being able to wear something bought for you when you were freakin 12 years old.  lol but crying inside.

I have a beautiful white fox fur given to me by my MIL.  I've only worn it once because my lifestyle doesn't include many outings where it's suitable. I have modeled it for Charles a few times.    Maybe I should make stuffies for the dogs out of it but I'm not sure I could bear to cut it up.

 I finally trashed a suit that I bought for hubby's 20th reunion.  If he were still alive, he would be coming up on the 45th.  It was a nice suit and a  very classic style, but I decided the blue and grey tweed probably hid a lot of dust and it had to go!  My resolution now is, if it hasn't been worn in 4 or 5 years...out with the old and in with the new!  I'm also trying to keep things in garment bags if they aren't worn often.

I forgot to take pics!! The lady forgot the keys anyway, so I'm going to get them tomorrow - I'm going to be doing some MAJOR cleaning so I'll get pics after I'm done. It has a dumb-waiter!! That WORKS!! FH said we could put Pirate in it when he's too old to go up the stairs. Not funny.

I'm still packing like a madwoman and I found some of Tiki's stuff that I couldn't bear to donate :( I sniffed it and it still smelled like her. I miss my Tiki-bear.

Also, could we all think a quiet little hug for Pirate and Wendy's vet? Dr. J is my FB friend :) and it seems like she's having a hard week. She is the most wonderful vet so she deserves some iDog hugs if she's down.

I bought my Halloween candy earlier today.  I didn't get much though because last year it was dead. Just a bag each of Cookies and Cream bars and Kit Kats. I also bought some of those little packs of pretzels. I may go grab a little bit more, I figure if I wait till Sunday, it'll actually be on sale. I think I'll put out the pretzels first, and save the chocolate for my friend and myself. I'll only put it out if we have to.

So, earlier, my was asking me if my sister had asked me about something. I love the vagueness. Yeah, she did. She asked me about several things (Did I get my mom something for her birthday yet (it was Saturday)? Did I want to just pick something up for the both of us and she will pay me half? Did I think she should just get my mom another base for the plastic baby bucket seat? Confirming that I will indeed babysit.) What she did not ask me, and what my mom was referring to was asking me to be the guardian for my niece should anything ever happen to her and my brother in law. Which to that, when she does actually ask me, of course I will. Just love my mom being totally vague like that.

My mom just gave me her leather motorcycle jacket that has ever so slightly gathered shoulders, so it's actually kind of in-style right now... had it not been for the elastic waist band.

I am peeved that the USPS has such trouble doing what they say they will do.  Correct the damned address, please!  Gah!
