I'm super excited about the World Series too but quite honestly, I'll be happy for either team. I just hope it's a good series.

Brrrrrrrr cold here this morning too. I'm so glad I got that down comforter on the bed the other night. Sure makes getting out of bed in the morning a lot more difficult though.

Sassy was acting strange last night and disturbed my sleep a couple of times. I have no idea what was going on with her. At one point, she was laying on the floor beside the bed and licking her lips and swallowing hard. I was just sure she was going to throw up, so I took her outside but she just went pee and seemed fine. She came back in though and seemed antsy for quite awhile but finally settled down. By then, I was wide awake :(

The state is full of them. guess what they are installing in the capitol complex common area? HEATED SIDEWALKS.

At least now the homeless will have a semi-warm place to sleep.

good for saving $$$....bad for unemployment. Perhaps they should hire the homeless who sleep on the sidewalks to shovel them...thus solving both issues or problems. That is assuming the homeless people want employment.

 News was saying last night we had 2 tornadoes hit near my town thankfully no one was hurt.

FINALLY the stupid dishwasher repair people returned our calls, after two weeks of dealing with their answering service. Maybe it was 3 weeks. Either way, I hope they can fix our machine. I've gotten spoiled. I hate hand washing my dishes now (well not that I loved it....)

They're coming tomorrow which means, I'll have to get dressed lol instead of just working in my PJs. Also, Ari will have to be kenneled in the morning, otherwise she'll pester them to no end.

I could NEVER live in an area where tornadoes are common. They seriously freak me out.

Aren't they playing in San Francisco?  Last time the World Series was there, the first game was rudely interrupted by the Loma Prieta earthquake. It was so dang cold ths morning!  I dashed out the door at 7 a.m. and had to run back in for something warmer than the two layered t-shirts I had on. I just reached in the hall closet for whatever was nearest and pulled out a blue car coat - and in the pocket was a stub from a UCD Aggies football game - October 17, 1992.

Well  in my own defense let's just say that over the years someone hung a large mans raincoat over it and I sort of forgot about it.  Now I feel like I have a new coat.  And the truth is, I actually have a coat that's way older than that one, but white wool with a mink collar just doesn't go with the uniform of the day - jeans and tees. Maybe one of these days I'll wear it if I ever get to go out someplace dressier than Dos Coyotes.
