This forum rocks

I'm with ya on this one Liesje (and all!). This place is for sure a breed apart from any other forum I've been a member of. It's probably why I'm still here when pretty much all other forums have gone out of my sights due to time constraints. It's friendly, open, respectful, and educational all at once. Love it!

You are all so right!!!!  I am not a part of any other forums and never have been.  Came here when I needed advise with Shadow's illness, so glad I found you guys.  I do consider you all my friends and like Lies said.....I know more about some of you and your dogs than some of my own family :)   Which is not a bad thing.   I always think it is funny that if I ran into any of you on the street, I wouldnt know you, but if we got into a conversation about dogs I would know immediately who you were, lol!

Seriously, I agree it's a great group and I come to get all sorts of advice, rarely relating to my dog anymore! LOL.

This place has surely helped me out on many, many occasions.

 I TRIED other dog forums before and was instantly turned off by most of them. Ok, all but this place . This is a terrific group. Aside from all the support I was given, particularly when Ari was young, I've learned various usages of the word cook and taffy. My Mom recently said something about a 2X4 and I started cracking up. This prompted an explanation to my Mom who was a bit concerned as to why I found that funny. My heart breaks anytime someone loses their pet or has to help them cross over. My day is instantly better when I hear about dogs and human being reunited. I peruse the photos section anytime I need cheering up. In short, this little section of the internet is very much home to me. I care very much about you all here. Even my SO, who isn't a member, has asked me to post a question or two (or reach out to someone here), with a question, because he even knows that the people here rock.

I like this forum a lot. I'm on a few other, too, but I come here the most and enjoy it here the most.

I talk about you guys so often to my DH that now when I'm talking about someone and their dog(s) he says, "Ok, are these real people or internet people?" LMAO!
