Aww Glenda, an elbow break is always nasty. My SO broke his a couple years ago in a skiing accident. Basically, he shattered/crushed it. He still has the metal rods they put in there so it would heal right. The break wasn't the bad part though, the physical therapy he had to go through was brutal. He had to keep at it though, so the bones would heal right. I hope your Sis is ok, and thank goodness her friend was there!
The SO tossed, turned and thrashed about last night and kept me up in the process. When I did manage to get some shut eye, I had terrible terrible nightmares that woke me up in a panic. I gave up trying to sleep around 4am. It's going to be a loooong day.
I recently went through all my clothing. I got rid of a few things with holes in them, and a few will go to a clothing donation drop off box the next time I'm out and about. I discovered just how many jeans I own that I no longer fit into. Some my Mom gave me when she lost all the weight she dropped. So, I literally have enough pants to see go from the 14/16's I'm currently wearing, then I have the 12's my Mom gave me, a scattering of 10's and the 8's I really long to fit back into (well when I weighed 140ish lbs I was an 8 or a 10, I gots hips to say the least!). At least, I won't need to spend any money on a new wardrobe! I can't wait to fit back into my cute clothes. That's motivation enough right there.
Glenda, THANK you for your advice on doing small/short projects around the house. I'm forcing myself to stick to a time limit (or just one task) and it's been great. I'm not burning myself out and I'm actually kinda having fun with it. It's feeling really good to throw out all this crap we just don't need to hold onto.
Apparently I'm chatty today. That typically happens when I'm overly tired, I tend to be a bit of a babbler. Off to go earn my paycheck now :)
