my new puppy is due tomorrow.  I just want today to hurry up and finish!

Meep!  Lots of pictures okay?  :D

I just got done bathing all the dogs.  They aren't all trimed b/c my shaver needs to juice back up.  Oh well, they'll be all spiffy tomorrow.  I dyed River red and purple and Chloe purple I need to get pics.  lol

Somehow, while doing yard work this weekend, I got poison ivy.  :(  Ugh.  Trying hard not to scratch of mess with it.

I haven't read through anything.. but I wanted to pop in to ask for more vibes...

seems like when it rains, it pours with my crew.

While I was out today - my moms cat apparently got stuck somewhere, and really injured herself. No one was home, so we don't know what happened - but my mom is very worried about her. Her sugars were low, and she had urinated all over herself. She's in a lot of pain in her back end... on pain meds, fluids, etc. we pick her up tomorrow morning.

Last night... Bitty pinned Casey to the floor, and not out of play. He's got a few scrapes, but nothing serious....

    *sigh*

I want to see spiffy Cresties!

Aesop is being a goober. There's a post in the behavior section if anyone has any input.

A few of the techs clean at work. It started out as a thing for people needing to pay off their bill. Then, when they got rid of their regular cleaning people, other techs took the extra days and the amount goes onto their account as a credit. I got asked early this year to take a day as the person doing it wanted a break.  I don't mind, as it keeps a credit on my account, so I never have to worry if I can budget in such and such test.  So, getting ready to head off to do that in a few. It's not been cleaned in three days because of the holiday, so should be.....interesting

Clipless pedals are awesome. (They're called clipless because the cage-looking things are called toe clips.) You can adjust them so that it's easier to get out, but then sometimes your feet slip off when you don't want them to. I'd suggest to start out with them loose then tighten them once you get used to them.

Do they look like webbing that just goes over the toe of your foot? If so, that's what DH used up until this last year. He had the same fear as me about the clip in type plus he didn't want to spend the money on the special shoes. He says the true clip in give him a little more leverage but I'm not out to break any records, so I think your idea is perfect.

Yes, the webbing ones are called toe clips. I don't know who named them. Hmm

    Good vibes for the kitty.

Ugghh... I work with a kid who, when he is done with his toys, just dumps them wherever. This is a problem, particularly with expensive electronics (ipods, gameboys). I got a call earlier from his mom asking if I knew where his ipod is I didn't respond to that, and I got a text. Umm... no. If I saw it, it was over 48 hours ago.  I have no clue. Here's an idea for you, he is 12.  12 year old can learn to be responsible for their own things. Even 12 year olds with autism can learn this. He can learn to put his things on the chargers when he's done. Needless to say, I'm not answering this until tomorrow morning. Tell him to go find it himself. Can you tell I'm feeling a little crabby?

I'd like to take some more benadryl and go back to sleep, but I'm afraid if I do I won't get up in the morning. No, actually, I know I won't get up in the morning.

Wedding went fine in the end.  My sister had suddenly become her old self - very anal and demanding and controlling.  Her husband set her straight and she finally chilled out right about the time we made the "Mama Mia-esque" parade from their beach house just a couple of houses down to have the ceremony on the beach.  They did it all together as a family, with his three on his side, and her three on her side.  It was a really nice ceremony - one of my BFFs officiated it, since she's a state attorney, and therefore a Justice of the Peace.  I think they looked happy once it was done.

Only bummer for my is my BFF had given me her camera and video flip camera.  I got ambitious and tried to take a picture as I was filming, and I dropped her camera into the sand.  Got sand in it.  GAH!!!  Local chain camera store wants $155 just to send it out to have it cleaned out.  She says she only paid $180 for it.  I'm buying her a new camera.  You can't go camera-less when you have a 2yr old in the house!!  (Although she said they got it working and it takes pics and will close, but still sounds grindy... ack!)

More drama today when my sister arrived at the airport and realized she didn't have her wallet.  She tried to reach me to see if it was in the truck or get the name of the place she last used it.  HOWEVER- I was in the storage unit for 7 hours rearranging all the crap that my mother stuffed in there while I was gone...  I told them 8 times over the weekend that's where I'd be on Monday, but they kept ignoring me.  Yeah, um, I had my own stuff to do, sorry!  The truck has to be back in the morning and I had no help unloading the thing.  Luckily, tomorrow, the 62yr old friend I'm staying with has offered to help me unload the couch and mattress...because my teenage nephews were too busy recovering from the wedding.

HOpe all have had a great laborday weekend!

Ours was busy busy, as was the week previously, so I've been much more MIA lately with full time homeschooling but I'm happy to report DS is doing very well and we're starting to find a groove.

    Dogs doing well also.

All is good.  The weather today was gorgeous- much better than the usual fog gloom and cold wind that is typical of the area.

So thinking of Everyone here!!  Glenda- getting closer to move time babe, you can do it :)
