I am swamped at work, & there's no sign of it letting up. I hate not having "idog time" during the day. :(

It rained this evening, which means that it was cool enough to work Cher. It's been so hot that we haven't been working. She & I have been working obedience at our training facility, but it's been a while since she's tracked or worked protection. She was happy to be out & working. She did have a minor brain fart, & instead of grabbing her tug as a reward, she missed & chewed her way up my arm. She had made her way 3/4 of the way up my arm before her brain kicked in & she let go. When she landed, she corrected her position into a front, all the wile wearing an "oh $#&$" look on her face. It was hilarious, & I couldn't stay mad at her even if she did draw a little blood.

I have three thoughts I want to share today...even though I'm never around, haha.

1. Boys are dumb, and sometimes dating is wayyy more trouble than it's worth. Sigh.

2. Yesterday should have been Cherokee's 12th birthday (or rather the day I picked as her birthday), so I spent the whole day missing her. Not that I don't miss her every day, but yesterday was extra hard. I still can't believe she didn't make it to 12. Cancer suuucks.

and 3. Juno is PSYCHO. I need to find her some major exercise outlets and training classes PRONTO before I strangle her.. Who thought an Aussie mix puppy was a good idea?? Ohhh yeah, that was me. Stoooopid!

Yes to #1, so sorry on #2 (((HUGS))) and yes, cancer sucks. #3 - ummm...good luck? and thank goodness she's soooo cute.

It has been so nice having 3 days off and I wish it wasn't coming to an end. I just took a bubble bath and am trying to chill out so I can get to sleep early and hopefully stay asleep.
