    Yea Glenda!

This is a good day, so many positive things have happened some so minor that most would not get as excited as me lol!

Ummm did I see Paige with a Deb and Amanda tude??? Or was I dreaming, lol!

Tina, hugs for you.... I had a similar story when I was a single woman some years ago.... where do men get off thinking?  Oh yeah they think with their "cooking" utensils Angry

Update on our neighbor.  His appt with the Mayo Clinic was Monday a.m., the surgeon met with them along with several others.  Tues. a.m., he was in surgery.  I spoke with his wife last night she said it was one of the most amazing things they have ever experienced since his diverticulitus some 3 or 4 years ago.   His surgery was long but very successful.  He was able to get up 4 times yesterday which they said was awesome for the surgery that he had.   They did some new procedure with his stomach that should prevent future problems.  They will probably not try to come home until next week but she said she was thrilled with the care. Thanks so much for all your good vibes, IDog friends rock!

Jackie I cannot believe you are keeping that puppy! Not because she isn't adorable but I was sure you were tough LOL

LOL, I didn't say we are keeping her.  Just that she needs the right home and if I can't find that home, I guess we keep her.  I can't bring myself to take her to a shelter at this point (If I could find a no kill with room for her).  I'm getting weak in my old age or my puppy armor has developed some leaks.  lol

Karen, if Bugsy were sick and not getting better, you'd take him to the vet.  Take yourself to the doc if you aren't better soon!

I'm really starting to worry about him - he is obsessed. Tuesday morning I was running out to some appointments as per our usual I sent him out to pee.  When he wasn't straight back in I looked out the window just as he was preparing to pounce. One pounce and mole out. Then I had to work a trade to get it from him and get him in.

So this morning I came back from an appointment and he had a play date this morning and drank a ton so I threw him out to pee (I was leaving again in a 20 minutes) and same thing. Pounce = mole. Trade for some extra mature cheddar and back in.  Its crazy.  Every time he goes out he looks for something, if there are no moles he looks for cicadas or doves or rabbits or blah blah blah  Seriously I am worried about it - success breeds more intent it appears

Jackie I knew you were still looking for a home but it sounds more and more that you'll keep her.  Either way I know she'll have a wonderful life Big Smile

As for my lungs, it is slightly better but the very humid hot air isn't helping.  I'm not coughing or feverish just having breathing difficulty that the meds are only slightly touching, lousy excuse but no time till next Friday to see a quack LOL

The library had a little Picnic in the Park thingy today. DH didn't feel like going, and my mom has the day off, so the kids and I went with her. It was pretty fun. Willa was excited to see the clown (we talked about it before going), but when we got there she was scared. Same thing happened at the 4th of July parade. She likes clowns in books and on tv, but in real life - yikes! I don't blame her though. I packed a lunch and she ate surprisingly well, considering the distractions.

Now it's nap time, so I got a little work done but I still have more to do. Tonight is an Arts Walk downtown and they have a booth with kids' crafts, so we'll go check that out. I love summer!

I have a little Willa funny... She loves looking at dogs in catalogs and learning the breeds. Yesterday I randomly asked her what kind of dog Rupert was. She thought for a few seconds, then replied, "A good dog!" Big Smile

    Yep, that is self rewarding.

What are his restrictions on movement right now? Anything? You just have en e-fence?

Awwww...not only she adorable but she's smart too! Big Smile

Karen - I'm willing to bet that if Sassy ever caught anything, she'd be instantly obsessed too. She just has that type of personality. I guess it's good for us and the critters that she's never caught anything. Buffy used to be a great hunter but she's so old now, they'd have to drop dead in front of her for her to notice. Poor baby.

Ugh, halfway through my day. It's slow, so it's just dragging on.

The lad is at a lock-in football camp this week (he coaches). Yesterday Aesop went and visited teenagers for a bit. I picked him up afterward (felt like a mom picking up a kid from daycare) and he was a happy, happy dog. He loves kids of all ages and was quite popular.

I just know that Bugsy and Rocky are from the same litter Big Smile  Rocky is obsessed as well!  With anything that moves!

He was working on something last night and I was afraid it was another toad...lol...I said "Rock" he look up and the cicada took the opportunity to escape!

    Good thoughts to all today.

Gina, I'm so sorry that happened to you and you ran into him.  What a jerk!

I am just kindof "eh" today.  Not much to say, really just want a nap.

Karen, my dogs spend a LOT of time hunting and catching in the yard.  Belle is the most relentless hunter.  It's hard to get her to focus on me when she's got something in her sights, so to speak.  She has improved a lot and I just keep working on redirecting her priorities. :)

Willa is too cute. Big Smile  She's also completely correct about what kind of dog Rupert is. :)

Lucky kids to get to play with Aesop today. What a good boy!

I have no idea what to have for dinner tonight.  Let's see.  Cheerios or Shredded Wheat, sweetie? :)

OMG Jano Willa is so cute Big Smile and correct!

Talking to DH he said B isn't obsessed, just determined.  Um yea to rid the universe of anything that moves, sigh. But glad to know other's BBD's are the same Stick out tongue

Julie he has the e-fence and the layout of our yard isn't conducive to containment and having leashed him as part of the rehab from knee surgery I don't fancy that again.  I am trying to get him to do things WITH me outside but sometimes like these two I just send him out to do his business before I leave for an extended time.

Might be having Cheerios at our house tonight too. I don't care what is is as long as it's not chicken. We've had way too much of that lately.

I ate the last of the egg salad I made last night - DH fends for himself tonight lol.

Kes and I checked out the local lake.  Kes had a BLAST going after his kong from the bank and I have my eyes on one of the little used docks - I may be calling tomorrow to see if they would allow to use it. If not I may start looking into starting up a casual dock diving group and then try approaching the city again lol.
