Sunday chatter

    Sunday chatter

Who ever heard of a 6 am CT scan? Hopefully they will read it & get me out of here quickly. I don't sleep well without Bevo in bed with me.

I appreciate the get well wishes but please don't post them on FB. If my family finds out, my dad will want to come check on me. If he comes, then my mother comes too, & I'd like to avoid that if at all possible.

Prayers coming out to you, no matter WHAT this is.

Oh sorry, Amanda.  I didn't realize it would cause you problems.  Hope you get released soon.

LOL, you heard it guys...we don't want Amanda's next stop to be a jail cell :) It's a good thing you've got a hard head, Amanda!! Fingers crossed that it's still in one piece and you can go home soon.

I work all day again today, blah. Hopefully I'll finish up early enough and I can take the dogs out to run.

Dang it Amanda, your having fun without us again? Must investigate!

ETA: Amanda, I hope you and your friend are both doing ok and that everything checks out fine. Will be thinking of you here.

Nothing on my plate today. Will see how the day shapes up.

Oh my!  Just went back and read!  ((((((Amanda)))))).  Take care of that hard head of yours and please rest and take it easy once they spring you.

How's it going, this morning, Amanda? They done with you, yet???

I just downloaded the 2009 Rally ratings, from Front and Finish, and burst into tears. Emma was the #1 Parson Russell Terrier, last year. So bittersweet. Bean was the #6 Crested, in combined, the #1 Crested, in Novice, and the #6 toy dog in Novice. This year, she, too, will be #1.

AMANDA!  Good grief, thank goodness it wasn't any worse.  When you are better and home, I know you'll tell us more.  In the meantime, behave yourself in the hospital...tee hee.   So scary.

Paige I am so very sorry to hear about your sisters friend.  May she rest in peace.

I am not even sure I'm going to the dog show today....we'll see what the day brings.

We had a nasty storm come through last night.  Poor Bruder wanted his "storm box" badly...he has discovered he feels safest in his crate when we have storms.  So, I have two huge crates...not three.  Bad mama.  All three wanted in the crates.  Big Boy Buddy tried to get into the crate as I was moving it into their room...that doesn't work. Indifferent  Bruder was in his and placed himself alllllthe way in the back, so Heidi felt there was room in there for her...which really there is...but not comfortably for any length of time.  So, Bruder got out.  I felt so bad, but I had to make Heidi get out so Bruder could get back in and closed it up for him.

This morning it feels GREAT outside....thank you storm.  Its like 72 degrees right now.

OK, off to help mom with her bath, wash her clothes, color my hair then decide if I'm going to Reliant.

Amanda, I know you will......but keep us posted.

Its looking pretty nice outside this morning. I'm going to try to get the dogs out for a hike.

I also need to stop at our pet parade and pick up some towels and blankets that were donated. You can't have enough dog blankets and towels imo!

It's HOT here! And sticky! Yuuuuck! DH and I woke up a half hour ago....do you know how long it's been since we both slept in??? Never mind sleeping in until 11!!! Apollo hasn't pooped since Friday :( He's on a bland diet (rice and boiled beef) a per our vet...but idk, something is "off" still. His energy and walking are back to normal, his appetite and drinking are normal....idk, maybe I'm being paranoid now. DH thinks the rice just bound him up, like constipation. I just want my dog back to being his healthy, active, annoying (lol) self!

Little too much fiber in those paper towels, handsome!!! Maybe some pumpkin would help? I hope he feels better, soon.

Lol, damn those paper towels!!!!!!! I will give him a little pumpkin.....do sweet potatoes do the same thing as pumpkin? We have some here I bought from our farmers market I wouldn't mind giving them to Apollo (I don't like them, DH does, haha).

I've given both. They both have good fiber and antioxidants. When Emma switched to Z/D, I had to feed her some sweet potato or pumpkin, and some flax seed oil, to keep her pooping easily. Probiotics also helped her out. It doesn't have much fiber at all, especially for a dog that's used to eating LOTS of veggiesBig Smile
