Hope you aren't hurt too badly and that you feel better, Amanda.   Hope your friend is OK as well.  Sorry you had to experience it, but glad it doen't sound terrible.

I'm just going to be very thankful that you're ok enough to be talking and writing and presumably all will be ok.

My sister's friend died in a tragic car accident on Wednesday.  Young, beautiful, smart, sweet young woman is gone.  PLEASE be careful - moms are a valuable commodity, ya dig?

Edit - Thank you for the congrats on the UKC thing.  I think if I'd done that run in one or two of my AKC runs, I could have had a couple more points on my scores.  So, I was pleased the judge was tough - made it more "valuable" to me.  Also, I met up w/a woman I've met a few times at other events.  She trains w/a highly respected Competition Obed trainer (who took HIT and HC, and has at every trial I've been to that she competed at)  The woman offered to take some of her personal time to meet w/me to show me some stuff in prep for Open (CDX), since I can't drive down to the competition trainer.  Def worth the time to go. :)

Glad you're feeling not too horrid, Amanda.  Car accidents are frightening. I've only been in two (and wasn't injured in either, thankfully) but they happen so quickly. We're lucky that in the last one (someone drove into the side of our car while we were in line for a gas pump) that no airbag went off..they had a huge vehicle and didn't slow down at all.   Hope tomorrow's scan is uneventful.

Got a picture of a certain long awaited Chow that may be joining our household. I keep looking at the emailed pic and squeeing at the cute. Because few things are as cute as a Chowlet.
