 So my mom is coming down with Dexter for 5 days. Lol. Should be fun! According to her, no one is allowed to cook, spend money or lift a finger for the full five days. Everything is on her. WEEE!! All she wants in return is for me to help get Dexter under control. Apparently he's a trouble maker *GASP!* Who'd a thunk it! Lol. Lucky for her, I love the challenge dogs.

Got my new freezer filled! It looks soooo good filled with food. And I think I went a wee bit over board when buying meat for Sandy.. Whoops. Lol

Glenda, I am so excited that we will be in the same state!!!! Granted, it's a long way from Pittsfield to Boston, but if you are headed this way to go to Fenway, or to tour Boston, I'll be happy to meet you for dinner if I can.  Maybe we can get Blacklabbie to come, too!  Heck, on a Saturday, I'd drive an hour if you would, too:-)

So, I opted to go to the UKC show.  Turned out I was the only Novice A, so we took first (lol), but the score was good- 194.  I honestly felt like our run was better than the AKC show, so that means the judge was tougher, which is a good thing.  I got invited back for a Rally event tomorrow, but, I can't rent the car again.  Sucks not to have your own transportation.

The Dragon Boat races are going on today, but Gracie and I were just waaay too pooped to deal with the INSANE parking to check it out.  The entire parking lot for Target and all the strip mall stores around it was COMPLETELY full.

Still working through a temp service for tradesmen. I started an assignment on Thursday and I'll be working through this weekend. At least the weekend work is in a building with the air conditioning on. I could get used to that.

We got the faucet leak fixed.  It went much smoother than it could have but not so easy that I want to become a plumber's helper. lol 

I used to love the peanut butter fudge one of my Aunts made for us when we were kids.  I had never made it until today.  I think something went wrong because it doesn't seem to be setting up.  I'm hoping it just needs to cool off completely.  If it stays gooey, I may make it into a milk shake addition.  Waste not, want not. :))

 I just got home from a great couple of days up north. I'm so relaxed, I feel like I've been on vacation. The dogs did good too with the new dog sitter.

friend & I had an accident this afternoon. I am in the hopsital for the night for observation.

 Yikes Amanda! Glad you're (kinda) ok! Take it easy and enjoy the hospital food.

I have a scar on my wrist from an airbag. I was wearing a winter jacket and leather gloves, so it probably would have been much worse.

 Oh crap Amanda! I sure hope you and your friend are okay. Today has been a bad day for accidents. I-45 S was shut down as I left for Reliant early this morning and then this evening (6:30 pm) as I left Reliant, they had the north bound lanes shut down right at 610 and 45. Nasty car wreck from what I could see. Hope that wasn't you! Let us know how you are!
