Apparently, I am not entitled to a day off. And it is everyone elses job to call me while I'm OFF - to demand I do things. Uh, try - NO. All phone calls will be returned at the start of my next business day, thank you and goodbye.

Why do people think this is acceptable?! and WHY do they think it is their job to tell me how to do mine?! UGH.

Gah... seriously. I was joking around saying that at the end of the summer, I'm gonna go hide out somewhere for a day. The person I said this took reminded me that I will probably take my phone, and people will call. 

Also, why do people think their kid is the only kid I see, and I can just reschedule things to suit their whims, or because their other people rescheduled. I scheduled with someone first, before I scheduled with the other kids. I can't just move them around now. You asked me first, so I scheduled your kid first. I have 5 others to schedule with, and frankly, you stress me out the most, and I get paid the least. 

I was just thinking, how are you doing Jan?  Have the downers/blues passed away yet??

Meg, remind me to pm you a stand up paddle board story sometime. There are quite a few "fun" things that you can do on a paddle board.....

My grandmother passed away this afternoon. I am upset, but strangely ok with it. I know that she's much better off now, even if I will miss her terribly.

After recieving a ranting voicemail from my mother, DH & I decided that we would wait until tomorrow to drive down. Our pet sitter is on vacation this week, & I really don't trust anyone else to be able to handle everyone, so we've decided to pack up the dogs, & take them along. It should make for an interesting few days.

It's strange. As a kid, I was blessed with 8 grandparents. Now, I only have one grandmother who is still alive, & she doesn't recognize me half the time. Just weird.

If I'm not around much for the next few days, ya'll behave.

So sorry, Amanda...  ((hugs))  I hope you feel the support being sent your way as your travel there and are with your family in the days ahead.... I'm sure one of us could carry the 2x4 on stealth status and "handle things" so you can focus on what's important.  I hope there is a celebration of your grandmother's life that gives you peace and smiles to remember the things you loved about her most.
