Chattin' on a Monday

 So thanks to my major caffeine kick yesterday, I cut myself down to one cup of tea today. However I do not recommend pepperoni and mozza cheese for breakfast!!

I have two days off so I'm gonna grab Sandy, go check the mail and then work on some training. Then I'm gonna release Maze to the back yard and let her sunbathe for a while. Lol.

In September I get to go meet my breeder and her dogs!! Soooo excited! Her bitch just had pups so they'll be about 4 months when I see them. No I am not bringing one home yet! Lol

Paige, got fingers and toes crossed for you that you get a job this week. 

I got passed on the job I interviewed for last week.  Denver has been the only place where I've interviewed for a job and not been offered the job.  This sucks.

Meanwhile, I have my final exam in about an hour and I need some good solid vibes to shake the disappointment of the job situation so I can at least pull something decent out of the last two months.  (Aside from Gracie's title, and thank you again to all who gave their congratulations.)  Please make sure I remember N w/two electrons and HCO3 are the bases I need to identify on the test... hopefully she doesn't switch it up too much from the practice exam.

Karen, we had a fig tree when we were kids but I never did like them other than to throw the rotten ones at each other.  We weren't good about picking up the fallen fruit and it attratcted a lot of bees and wasps.

Jackie my brother & I used crab apples LOL I think it is a good thing we didn't grow up togetherI am planting it away from the house because of the bees/wasps, etc. In a corner of the yard that is a pain to mow so I have been added some trees and shrubs there slowly. I went and got soil but then got involved with some other gardening projects about 20 minutes ago I started getting dizzy and decided that was likely an indication it was time to get out of the heat.  Now I am really ready for lunch!!

Barb I have tomatoes, peppers (hot and red sweet) and basil growing.  We both love figs and something about the trees looks so green, lush and cool I decided it would be a benefit to our moods when it is screaming hot like today.

My friend finished fixing my computer today - it's super fast! I'm so excited!! :)

 So the impending move has just become more real to me: I just had a guy out for a moving quote!  Our move date is officially the 16/17th of July! Eeeeeek.

Paige, that sux!  Good solid vibes to you and your memory!  And, I definately was not one to congratulate Gracie!  I missed out on quite a bit.  **hangs head**

I was going to get a turkey and tuna hoagie for lunch, but the deli that makes that is closed on Mondays. Boo. I don't know what to get now, but I need to decide pretty quickly. I could go to another deli and get a turkey or tuna hoagie, probably tuna, but I think I will just get Wendys. On Thursday though, and this is the most exciting part of Thursday for me, I was just told about a Jewish Deli in CT that I will be sort of passing (if I take 15 instead of 95, which I think I will because I should have time). Jewish Deli's rock. I went to one last night, and had my leftover chicken in a pot for breakfast. 

Glenda- I know I was thinking I'd wait till spring for a new puppy.... things just fell into place :)  She fits right in here! :) 

And Deb, in my, uh, recent experience, Better to ask for Forgiveness than Permission... heh heh!

Just  cleaning up and finishing unpacking from the legoland/puppy trip.  I always pack way too much stuff. I guess better than the opposite. 

Echo is keeping me on my toes.  Definitely a different feeling since Lexi and Darby sleep and snuggle all day and I hardly know I have them some days!  She is a prime counter surfer and currently dealing with a gas issue. pu!

Noah really likes her. THey played fetch with her bumper this morning, she really likes to play with him.

That's all, I need some breakfast still!

 Apparently the bug noises I thought were outside are actually coming from the lonely katydid in my kitchen who doesn't want to be caught - any suggestions on saving him from himself?

Is anyone else feeling PMS-y today? I swear, I feel sorry for anyone that has to deal with me today. I need some doggy, drink and retail therapy asap!

 Oh and I just got back from the doctor's. I go to MSU's family practice. They actually wanted to VIDEO TAPE our visit so that they could use it for one of their online courses. Ummmm. NO. I don't mind the occasional student following the doctor around, but I draw the line at video taping.

I'm so sorry. I was surprised at how many actual interviews I did and thought I nailed, that never panned out. It was pretty deflating but I did get a lot of interview experience. I also went from being super nervous about them to feeling pretty complacent and had to work hard to keep myself psyched up. Hang in there. Your time will come and hopefully soon. I'll be thinking good final exam results for you this afternoon.

My aunt and uncle had a fig tree in their backyard and while I never cared for figs, that was a gorgeous tree and fun to climb.

I'm off to the gym and hoping I feel motivated to workout between here and there.

My Mom's visit this weekend was nice, albeit a little sad. She brought over all the remaining treats and food she had from Nikki to give to me. Ari was grateful, particularly over these peanut butter flavored cookies. Ari REALLY impressed my Mom this weekend. Proof positive that the SO and I are not imaging things lol when we say Ari has matured quite a lot. My Mom couldn't get over how Ari just laid in bed with her while she read. When she was a pup, that NEVER would have happened lol. Don't get me wrong, Ari is still a nut and is likely more dog than some can handle, but compared to what she used to be like....My Mom was happy to get a dog fix but it was hard to talk about Nikki without us both getting teary!

I'm hoping the rain holds off. I have a bit more work to do, but then I want to take my road bike out for a spin. Right now, it doesn't look like Mother Nature is planning on cooperating though.

Gosh darn it Paige!  There is something great out there for both you and DH.  And it's coming soon.  I've gotta keep believing that and so do you.
