 Congrats! lovely girl.

It's amazing how Doodles have proven themselves to be such great dogs. When I first joined this forum (aka idog) about 7 years ago, you risked being flamed for owning a Doodle. Now they are extremely common and you never hear the kind of controversy that surrounded them not that long ago. I contribute it to their amazing personalities. Life is funny!

Where I live it's still very "controversial" despite DDs being fairly common. I wouldn't personally say a type of crossbreed can "prove" itself to a be a great type of dog as they are all so different, and I regularly run into ones who have health and behaviourial problems. Not my cup of tea, as I only buy my dogs from breeders who health test etc, although I have met some lovely individuals who are poodle crosses and they have great personalities.

The main controversy that surrounds DDs is still a big problem here (puppy farmers pumping them out in large numbers, pet stores full of them, breeders not health testing and lying about the predictability of crossbreeds etc)
