To doodle, or not to doodle, that is the question... (meg)

I'm so happy for you and your new doodle...er...um...poodle - golden mix...  She looks lovely.  Can't wait for more pics!Wink

Nekkid or not shes to die for! Look at those sweet eyes.

    • Gold Top Dog

Awwww, she's so cute, even nekkid!

    Meg, I have to ask....is she a non-shedding 'doodle'?  I love our non-shedding doodle!

    • Gold Top Dog
It doesn't seem like she sheds...but I just cut all her hairs off LOL. Poor baby seems like her feet are tender, but then again, her paw pads hadn't touched ground in so long I'm not surprised.

I have also decided that if I'm stuck calling her a golden-doodle, Pirate shall be called a 'terra-doodle'. I will make clones of him and sell them for thousands :)

YAY for Wendy! Congrats all around. Give her good belly rubbins for me :)

Jackpot, Wendy!!  Congrats to you & your new family.  She does have the sweetest face.  Please give her some rubbies from me.  Has she discovered the wonders of bacon/cheddars yet?

    • Gold Top Dog

    You've got a WendyDoodle!  Congrats...she is precious!

     Congrats! lovely girl.

It's amazing how Doodles have proven themselves to be such great dogs. When I first joined this forum (aka idog) about 7 years ago, you risked being flamed for owning a Doodle. Now they are extremely common and you never hear the kind of controversy that surrounded them not that long ago. I contribute it to their amazing personalities. Life is funny!

I don't think anyone was flamed for *owning* a Doodle, just for buying them from breeders who were engaging in some pretty irresponsible breeding practices (as we know, a lot of them still are, and that isn't necessarily particular to Doodles).  I know that people here have always supported getting a re-homed or rescued dog, and I think it's great that this dog has Meg now to take good care of her.

    Our memories must be different.

Yes I do recall a lot of 'breeders' at the time were taking advantage of the doodle craze for sure. I see a lot of Golden and Labradoodles around here. I hear very few complaints from the owners regarding health or behaviour.

Meg, Wendy is a beautiful name for a beautiful GIRL and it suits her well!  I couldn't really make out those pics....kinda blurry on my end...I'm gonna need more to get my Wendy fix!!!

    How's Pirate been holding out?

    • Gold Top Dog
Johnny, I forgive you :) She and Pirate sniped at each other throughout the day - but that is typical of Pirate LOL.
    • Gold Top Dog

Aw, WendyDoodle is cute!  Hopefully her and Pirate are getting things worked out.
