Abbie needs your strongest vibes please

Yeah, me too wanting an update.  Healthy vibes are continueing.....

She is resting really nicely so long as I am with her. If I get up and start doing things she gets all anxious. I'm going to have to get back to work though today so I'm worried about that!

She did pick up her fav toy outside though this morning and pushed it at me. And she's grouchy with the other dogs. So little bits of the normal abby are peaking out ;)

The vets says it could be anything that set this off. I know she got in to some bird food, which included peanuts. He didn't seem convinced of that theory though. It could be a virus or maybe she ate a bad plant. As long as she is on the mend I'm going to try not to stress over it.

I'm giving her a few tablespoons of bland food every couple of hrs and that is staying down. She's drinking water now too. So I think we are beyond the worst of it and she will fully recover

I'm so relieved to hear that she's eating a bit and drinking and being grouchy to the other dogs. lol   I hope she continues to improve.  Don't stress too much (I'm good at that advice but stress like crazy when it's my dog who is sick, lol) and thanks for updating us.   Continued get better vibes for Abbie.

whew!  Thanks for the update and glad to hear she's grouchy !  LOL....that just means she "with it" enough to care.

They did do a full cbc panel. The only high was hgb, whch you would expect. Crazy though that nothing else showed up after all that. I mean you would expect her liver to be out of whack at the very least.

I made the mistake at looking at the breakdown of the bill. Oy! Lol I should not have done that. They charged a per minute rate for anestesia (sp)! Plus the initial shot and the monitoring equipment. Omg it like looking at a hospital bill where they charge you $50 for a box of klenex. So yeah, this week was really expensive. So much for getting my dead tree taken down!

So glad to hear about Abbies progress!  I know you must be feeling some relief!

Oh, Abba-dabba, so glad you're eating and starting to feel more like yourself.  (Funny, getting cranky w/the other dogs is my sign that Gracie isn't feeling well - as has been the case this week.)

I hope she gets through today quietly and doesn't stress too much about momma not being home for the workday.  ***good healthy vibes***

Thanks so much for the pupdate on Mz. Abbie.  Am I going to have to start calling you Crabigale? :)  I'm so glad that you're feeling better but please relax when your mom has to go to work.  She has to work to pay your vet bills.  Silly girl.
