Abbie needs your strongest vibes please

 I'm so glad that she's recovering; I'll bet you're feeling sooo relieved. It would be nice to know what caused it, but at least she's going to be okay.

Good to hear Abbie is getting better!  How's she doing today?

 She is spunking up slowly but surely! She started to paw at the head cone last night. She left it alone all week, which I was so surprised about. That just goes to show how sick she was.

I fed her a mix of her normal dog food with some canned I/D and she did fine. I didn't go out with her this morning though when she went to do her business so I did not see if she still had runny stool. I woke up at 7:45 and had to be at work by 8 so I didn't have time to do anything!

I'm going home at lunch to see how they are all doing. Hopefully everything will be the way I left it this morning - the head cone, the carpet, her stitches....

 all was good when I went home for lunch. yay.

I did a brief check around the back yard against the aspca list of toxic plants. I do have some crocus, which is said to cause bloody vomiting but those are not in bloom right now. I suppose it's possible that she ate a leaf from it. I also have rose of sharon, which didn't look like it had been eaten at all. I guess the most likely suspect is probably a crocus leaf.....

 So glad she's doing better. Better dig up that crocus, eh?
