Saturday chat

Shammy, glad you made it safely into CA!  Apparently there's another storm rolling in for tonight, tomorrow and Monday, but it doesn't sound like anything major. A bit of wind and light rain ... just enough to soak the patio cushions before we even get a chance to sit on them.  So ... I had DS #2 check the computer (we get anti virus stuff from comcast) and it showed *clean*.  He said if there was anything terribly wrong with the link Comcast would block it, so he opened it to discover it's from a Canadian health care site (most likely Montreal since the link is French) and it's for ... you guys ready for this???  They're peddling Viagra, Cialis, Levitra and pretty pink Viagra for the ladies.  Lawdy. Just let me run and grab my credit card right now before they run out.

Willow heard me and came in to check me out. She took one look, gave me a look like "I got up for this" and walked away.  This is why I need one of those dobermans! 

Be careful what you wish for, Lori!  I will say that there are moments with dobes, albeit rare, that a little less sensitive, & velcro would be considered a good thing. 

I closed the car door on my hand last spring.  Bevo was with me.  The hand had very obvious fractures.  After I got my hand free, I sat down in the car to try to recover from the shock & pain of having it happen.  Bevo was, literally, on top of me checking on me.  He was in my face checking in, & then he had to check my hand, repeatedly.  In hindsight, his response was actually quite cute, but at the time, not so cute.
