Add me to the list..... ahhh, it's so unfair.  I have to remind myself that God/the angels did what they could to make their passing easiest, peaceful, and not alone.  But I'm still so sad for Tim & Maria...

Ladies, I'm right there with you.  I feel so badly for Maria & Tim.

Erica, GREAT song!  Is that, by chance, dedicated to anyone in particular?  :)

Paige, I'm glad that the award letter is on the way.  Jump through the hoops quickly, & get the check!

I was going to post about my evening, but after reading about Maria's terrible day, it's inconsequential.

ETA:  Stacey, sometimes drunk people have accidents.  As long as they clean up their mess, it should not be used against them, or even mentioned ever again.... Embarrassed

I can't imagine why anyone would ever think that! Wink

The news about Talus broke my heart - I remember when he was a pup and how much they went through then, so this is doubly sad.

In happier news, DH has been all sad about not having a dog at the new house (mwhahahahahaha I've totally corrupted him) so we're seriously discussing temp fostering for the cattle dog rescue I transport and fundraise for.  Paws crossed that he decides to take the leap - our first temp foster would likely be a dog from work who is heartworm positive.

    paws crossed, Erin!

I'm so sorry for Maria too!  It makes me pause when I think about just how many of the dogs that were here when I started on this forum have gone now.  They don't stay with us nearly long enough.

I'm off the diet wagon. I need to get myself pulled together for tomorrow.  I don't know what's gotten into me.  But, I need to loose 8 lbs by the end of the month.  Or, the dress for my cousin's wedding-the one that's the vet tech at Willow's vet--won't fit me!

Willow caught the attention of a really nice looking guy at the park today.  And, he had a black lab with him.  He put his dog in the truck when he realized Willow was reacting like a fool. I've seen him there before.  His dog is very friendly and well behaved.  I've watched him throw the ball and work on commands.  And, he usually walks around the park at least once with him. But, today was the first time he walked over and started talking.  He wanted to pet Willow.  She didn't really pay much attention to him but I didn't want to take any chances.  He was very nice but I'm married.

Now, off to study for my last test on Saturday.  I cannot wait for it to be over with.
