Tuesday - Mindless

OMG OMG OMG. I tried on another wedding dress at David's Bridal on Friday and FELL IN LOVE. It's $500, ouch, so I told the saleslady I'd think about it. Over the weekend I googled the style number (which is vw9340 in case anyone wants to look at it on their website!) and discovered that people SELL wedding dresses online! What!? So I found the same. exact. dress. in MY SIZE. This girl ordered it from David's Bridal in a size 0 petite (the size I was going to order!) but it didn't come in time for her wedding, so she bought something else, but this dress was already paid for so she had to take it. So, getting to the OMG part, she will sell it to me - new, tags on, in the bag and everything, for $220. I am about to pee my pants.

I texted FH and told him to call me, but he's in sexual harrassment training at work today. They better get a lunch break soon so he can call me!!

Go Mr. Jackie! Eat that pizza!

    Feel better Callie!

Keep it clean, Tina - ROFL.

     Meg, that dress is gorgeous!

I cannot wait to get my haircut tonight. 1. I like getting my haircut (it's one of the few "girly" things I enjoy doing). 2. I hate my hair right now. My hair is kept short, but the front part is too long. I can't throw it up, but it keeps getting into my eyes and face. Not cool. I like short, simple hair that I can just run my fingers through, and call it "styled" lol.

    VERY cool Meg!

Well, I haven't 'gotten' anything yet. My godparents sent me wedding money but it got spent on a certain someone's x-rays *ahem PIRATE ahem* so I need to convince FH to split the cost with me. I'm not worried, I can be very convincing ;-)

We're planning on going to Key West, and having the ceremony in the gardens at the Hemingway House...I just think it kind of fits with the whole 'feel' of what we're doing. All of my iDog friends are invited, of course! FH wants to go down there for at least a week so he can have a bachelor party....so I need my iDog friends to have a bachellorette party! Whoo!

Sharon, enjoy your haircut! I hate having my haircut, because my sister is a stylist, and used to whap me with the comb when I wiggled too much.

Tina- I'm glad that didnt happen! Ickk. Be careful Agnes, girl. Your mommy does not like poop in her hair.

Corky- You make me want a duck also. Maybe you could come visit me LOL?

Jamison- Yay for getting your stitches out bud!

Courtney- Be brave, grab that water bowl, and chuck it out the door! you can do it!

Gina- I have the fix to the kittens gettin out. Send at least one or two of em to me! I lurvvee kitties.

    Meg- Congrats on the dress!

    Callie- how are you today?

Today I got up early again. I felt like looking my best so I took a shower, did my hair verrry prettty, and wore a cute outfit. Prolly a bit too sexy for work, but ehh I dont care. I feel WONDERFUL!

    Have a good Tuesday!!

Maybe I should go get my hair cut, except it's not on my schedule for today. Maybe I can afford to put it on the schedule though because I finished my presentation and paper already, and the work time I had scheduled starting in 10 minutes was for that. Maybe if I start now, and get my reading done, I can let myself go get my hair cut. It's not desperately in need, but I like getting my hair cut. I was also pleasantly surprised that I had already done some of my reading. I guess this means I need to get back to work so that I might have time for the hair cut.

Oh yes, I'm thinking we could have a very fun time at your bachelorette party. What's the date for your wedding?

Meg - that dress is gorgeous! It's even better than the last one you showed us! Plus I have a thing for lace :) You should definitely buy it, especially at that price!

I found a dress I like at David's Bridal (style 9T9948) as well, but I have to go to the states to try it on - the closest location is in NY for me. It seems like a long trip to try on one dress. I wish it was available online.

I am still waiting to hear from a friend about a seamstress who made her wedding dress for her - I will go that route if she can find a phone number for me, and perhaps she can replicate one of these dresses for me, with a few minor tweaks here and there - these are my first choice: http://www.stephaniejamescouture.com/ - the tea length ones - Bianca, Josephine and Mrs. Kennedy are my favourites.

I really like the Josephine too, Stacey !!  So pretty !!

    Meg - Love that dress!!!

Took Riley to her first dentist appt. this morning.  Yeah, that went well...not.  I laughed out loud when the woman said they were going to count her teeth, give her a cleaning, and then do the flouride treatment.  I tried to tell her that she would not be open to any of it...she looked at me like I didn't know what I was talking about.

Well, they didn't get any further than the teeth counting (she has them all)...when Riley bit her finger.  I tried to tell her that she has been poked, prodded and stuck so much lately that her patience is thin.  She didn't listen.  Oh well.  I know I sound like one of those mom's but I know my own kid.  All I wanted done was for them to take a look at a spot on her front tooth, that's it.

I must show you her new shoes from Nana...don't you just love them!

Working from home the rest of the day today.

Griff, I really like all of your scheduling lately, LOL. Very productive!

We're planning on May or June of next year for the wedding. Basically, whatever is available at both the Hemingway House and the house we decide to rent to stay in.

Stacer, check out oncewed.com - that's where I found my deal :) I do like that designer though! Tea length is so cute. I think the best way would be to have a seamstress make you a dress though. That's cool!

Those shoes are really cute, Riley!

Uh -oh  . . . . Riley has a "thing" for shoes.  Better get a second job, Lisa.

Oh my gosh, those blingy sandals are adorable. I'm thinking Riley needs a little color on those toenails :)
