    Monday chat

    Good morning!

I've got a million emails to go through, plus invoices, so I should probably attack them.

Good morning! I have to get up and go in 6 minutes. I took 5 minutes to plan my day today, and it says at 9, I have to go to the dog park. I am really looking forward to 11:30 though, because at that time, on my schedule, I wrote be lazy.

Anyone ever do those ink refill things? My darn ink is empty (again). I'm debating if I should do that refill stuff, or just go plunk down the cash on a new one. Maybe it's a bad sign though, that I drove by the Ink Stop place, and it's out of business.

    Be back during laziness time.

Thank goodness I had to come to work.  I'm so tired from all the yard work I needed a rest. lol    I need to get busy and get some work done before noon.  DH has a doctor appointment this afternoon.

we refill out ink at work - just take it to walgreens, much cheaper - never had any problems.... until we got our new printer, and they don't refill those cartridges! :(

I kicked the dogs outside - they decided I'd make a good trampoline to play in this morning...

I nearly ate myself into a food coma over the weekend.

I am off today, it's the last day of my four day weekend.  It's been nice.  Actually, I am off on Wednesday too, FH and I are going to the city, to see a friend and go to the orthopedic surgeon.

I fell through FH's parent's deck this weekend.  My knees are all bruised.  Apparaently some of the boards are rotten - of course I would be the one to discover it!

Timmy killed his first squirrel on the weekend - FH's brother and dad were extremely proud of him.  I am a bit sad for little "reddy" I like squirrels.

MIL was telling us about her travels these past two months and seems to think she would rather live in BC - or at least live in BC for the winter - I don't know if this is just another whim of hers, or if she's actually serious - it would make perfect sense for them to pack up and move there, I can see FIL actually going for the idea - he would still get to ski, and curl and golf and MIL wouldn't have the snowy winters we have here.  It seems like a win win situation for them.  The strange thing was when she suggested FH and I move out there too, and said SIL/BIL could get FH a job no problem - we didn't expect that, we had been dreading telling her we wanted to move out there, but she suggested it!  We took the opportunity to tell her we had been thinking about it, so now the idea has been said.  I think we might actually be ready to go next spring/summer.  If I can manage to convince FH to get rid of his birds in time to re-do that room to sell the house.

    Sooo tired. Sleep

Today is DH & my second anniversary.  Even though he drives me crazy some days, I am so happy & grateful to have him in my life.

Happy Anniversary, Amada !!  Doing anything special (besides cooking) to celebrate?

Ouch, Stacey  . . . falling through a deck is never good.

Jackie  . . . good luck at the doctor's later.

P.S.  All the dogs around here look fabulous in their new collars.  I'm going to have to get Jamison one too.  His is looking a little ratty lately.

woo good morning all - I too had best post and get to work

    Happy Anniversary Amanda

Deb I ate so much yesterday - burp - felt like thanksgiving

    Good luck Jackie!!

I want to get a couple of new collars for B but he has soooooooo many and I have been trying not to buy much for him while we replenish his fund.  Grr me wants new collar!

Stacey OUCH!!  I understand about Timmy and the squirrel - at least he killed it, when Bugsy started to catch the moles he wouldn't kill them but they weren't going to survive - it was awful!

I am very, very, very, very pleased to announce that Bugsy had his first playdate yesterday post op.  It was with the golden that he grew up with but hardly sees now.  She is still his bestest friend and my goodness you cannot imagine how joyful he was.  I was nervous but he was fine, pulling some maneuvers that made us all gasp - just like old times LOL  He even managed to completely wear her out well before he was done.

He was sore last night but not too bad and still a little tender this morning best I can tell but we still did 2 miles.  I can't wipe the grin off my face.  It really was wonderful

good morning!!  Happy Anniversary Amanda.  Jackie I hope it goes well.  Stacey -- ouch!!

I'm dedicated.  *sigh*  I woke up feeling wretched (good British word that we Americans should use more often LOL).  I feel sick to my stomach and I've got a sinus headache and my ears are ringing.  But I'm at work.  Cos I gotta be.

Now all I gotta figure is whether this is dedication or pure stubborn-ness!!

     Happy Anniversary!

I am sneezing like a mad woman lately. The allergy doc says I have no allergies but I think he lies! How else do you explain all of the sneezing, itchy, watery eyes?

Jackie, let us know how the doc appt goes for your DH.

I'm not happy that today is Monday. I'm pretty tired this morning!

I need to decide where we will train tonight...hmmm....need a park that doesn't have a lot of people in it. That seems very hard to come by these days.

it IS morning...and thus, nothing good about it LOL!

Flopsy is adorable...her ear tufts are hilarious and she really is a sweet little cat. She makes very interesting noises...the only thing I haven't heard her do is MEOWWW! lol.

This is a family friendly forum!  Are you trying to get me in trouble, Jackie?

We are skipping any big celebration tonight & instead, we are going away for the weekend to celebrate.

I think Bevo had too many Easter eggs yesterday.  He is peeling the paint off my office walls. Ick!

LOL!  Me?  I'd never do that to you, Amanda.  You do fine all by yourself.  *runs away from rotten egg thrown by Amanda*

I'm supposed to be working......I'm waiting for people to call me back and getting frustrated that I can't do my job because NO ONE answers their business phones anymore.  GRRRR  "Hi, you've reached Mr. Big Shot and I can't be bothered to take your call because I'm busy setting up my golf game.  Please leave me a message and I'll get back to you after you've left 15 messages.  Have a GREAT day and we appreciate your business!"
