Amanda, Congrats!  I hope you and your DH have an awesome weekend Big Smile

Karen, that is fantastic that Bugsy's playdate went so well!

Ick about the allergies Julie, I sure hope your head feels better soon!

Deb, I also ate waaaay too much on the weekend.  We had a big turkey dinner on Saturday and we were all too full to eat dessert, but FIL HAS to have his dessert, so instead of just bringing out one pie, he brought out two - pecan and raspberry - how the heck do you choose between pecan and raspberry pie?  So we didn't, we all had a piece of each.  We later attempted to work it off playing WII, but quickly felt too sick for that much movement.  LOL.

The falling through the deck was actually pretty funny, only because I wasn't really hurt.  It's a high deck too, probably 10-15 ft off the ground.  I guess I stepped on a rotten board, my one leg went through and my one knee hit there, then I fell down on my other knee against the remaining boards and hit that knee.  I was rushing out the door to go gather Timmy from the neighbours - Timmy was being a bonehead and taking advantage of FH because he is hurt, I told him to keep Timmy on a leash, but alas.  I fell through the deck, shouted owwww, then FH just stood there staring at me in shock, he finally asked if I was ok, I started giggling, then asked him how he didn't burst out laughing at that.  That's when he started giggling at me, finally.  LOL.

I just made a cake and homeade icing that is so so so delicious.  It's mostly butter.  YUM.

Ari gave me a fat/bloody lip this weekend. It's my fault. I asked if she wanted to go out. She got crazy excited. I forgot to locate her before bending over to retie my shoe, and she jumped up at me, nailing me right on my lower lip. Thankfully, the swelling is almost gone, and there's just a few cuts that mostly look like bad chapped lips that split or something. Good thing, as I didn't want people to think my SO batters me around. When in truth, our dog is abusive to the both of us!

My weekend of napping, has left me tired and unmotivated....hehe. I needed the sleep though. I also really really really need to make a doctors appointment. My chronic heartburn issues are NOT getting better and I know you shouldn't leave heartburn issues unchecked, when you've had issues for many months now. I'm just stubborn and hate going to the doctors. But, Tums, Maalox, Pepto no longer touch my heartburn and I don't want to go to any other over the counter stuff until I'm checked out by a doc. Stomach issues/heartburn/reflux issues run rampant on my Mom's side of the family.

    Friday yet? Stick out tongue

Happy anniversary Amanda. I'm not sure why, but it seems like you've been married for longer than 2 years.

Jackie - I'll be thinking good thoughts for DH's dr's appt this afternoon.

We had such a nice Easter dinner at SIL's yesterday. Yummy food and one of the desserts was homemade chocolate mousse. Man, that stuff was amazing.

DH's back was still hurting this morning but he went to work anyway. He did use the thermacare wrap finally and commented on how great it felt. Why are men so stubborn about stuff like that?

I did something to hurt my lower right side of my rib cage. It was hurting a little last week but last night I couldn't even sleep on my right side and this morning when I sneezed, I almost burst into tears. I'm guessing is a muscular thing but can't imagine how I did it.

Ok, I gave up and came home.  Dunno where I picked up the gut flu but I've *got* it apparently.

Off to find some San pellegrino and crawl into bed.

I'm waiting for people to call me back and getting frustrated that I can't do my job because NO ONE answers their business phones anymore.  GRRRR  "Hi, you've reached Mr. Big Shot and I can't be bothered to take your call because I'm busy setting up my golf game.  Please leave me a message and I'll get back to you after you've left 15 messages.  Have a GREAT day and we appreciate your business!"

ROTFLMBO!!!!!  This is tooo funny I think we are the only business in NW Arkansas that still has humans that answer our phones.

    Happy Anniversary Amanda!

Yea! Bugsy!!!  So glad you had fun this weekend with your girl friend, lol!

Jackie, I am just like you, I let Hubby catch up on his sleep this weekend and I worked outside all weekend.  The weather was beautiful, but I kinda overdid it, cant feel my hands today, lol!   But I did get a lot done....should have taken the day off today to rest...but if I had I prolly would have been outside playing in the yard. Wink

You sneezers, beware.  Don't know if I mentioned it here but a friend cracked a RIB sneezing!  The doc at the minor emergency clinic and the nurse told him it's not as uncommon as you would think.

Callie, sorry you have the stomach ick.  I hope you feel better soon.

I'm off to pick up Charles and see if I can find this doctor's office in the huge, confusing mess they call the medical center.  Send help if you don't hear from me in a few days....

    Happy anniversary Amanda!

Jackie, I hope the doc appointment goes well (if you ever find the place, lol)

We had a wonderful Easter.  Had some friends over, plus BF's mom, and all their dogs, too.  We had more dogs over than people!  It was pushing 90 degrees, so I pulled out the kiddie pool for the pups, and Harry was in heeeeaaaavvvvveeeennnn....  Unfortunately, he started limping last night, I checked out the paw he was favoring and found a little raw spot between two toes.  He must have scraped it on something yesterday (I'm thinking the deck stairs).  My poor baby. Sad

Stacey & Harry, be carefull!  Owies are no fun.

So I got a 2nd census form in the mail today, two weeks after I received and mailed back my first.  More government waste at work...

Deb, Agnes is a girl after your own heart.  She found a cheese stick when we were walking last night and practically dove on it.  After nearly losing my thumb trying to pry a chicken bone from her mouth, I decided it was best to let her eat the cheese.

    Amanda, happy anniversary!

I'm back into laziness time. So far, super productive. I might be done my paper that is due on Saturday like tonight, or tomorrow. If I get some work done during the commercials of DWTS and Castle tonight, I could be done tonight. This would be totally unheard of. I can't believe this would happen. I don't know what I would do with myself (other than maybe read the articles for class this weekend, but first I need to buy ink for the printer).

Deb- I ate wayyy to much as well! I'm so bloated today it's not even funny!

    Happy 2nd anniversary Amanda!

Stacie- Owchie!! Hope your ok! Oh, and poor little squirrel. My dogs havent ever caught a squirrel but the bunny death toll here is pretty high with a Beagle. Him and Cuddles work together as team to get em' lol. Always makes me a little sad tho.

Jackie- Good luck at the doctors!

Karen- I'm so glad Bugs had a fun playdate!

Julie- I'm sorry your allergies are givin ya trouble. Mine will start in a couple weeks. Blehhhh.

Sharon- Ouch! Hope your lip is better today.

Callie- Hope you feel better soon!

Well my weekend was pretty great. I relaxed for all of it. I went to Grandmas for Easter and that was fun and oh my GOD was the food delicious.

Also, there was a tracking club in my area and I went with Brownie just to watch but they had extra time so he got to try at the end!!! My boy did great! He had never tracked before(well, not structured LOL) and he found the scent every time!! It was a begginers course but I'm so proud! It was a rag with a rabbit scent. Maybe we should get into some type of tracking thing. He loved every minute.

    Callie, sorry you're sick.

    Amanda, Happy Anniversery!

Jackie, good thots coming out for the Doc appointment.

Whatever, whoever I've missed, good thots to all of you as well.

Beautiful day here, but gosh I'm still dragging.  Haven't gotten my energy back yet, I guess, from the marathon radio thing.

Corky went NUTS when DH came home Saturday nite...the second she heard his voice she starting screaming for him.  Would not calm down until he picked her up and let her nuzzle in.  AND, having him home, my dogs are actually behaving again.  And no further items have been destroyed by teeth.  Phew!

    Happy anniversary, Amanda!

Callie, sorry you're feeling icky.  Get better soon. Big Smile

Yesterday it started pouring around 1:00 p.m.  DGS had a couple of friends over to sit in the hot tub and Max, who will hold his pee until he's ready to explode rather than go out in the rain, stayed out there with the boys for over an hour ... tearing around the edge of the spa like a nut case, egging the kids on to splash water in his face.  He was so soaked when the kids left and he finally came in, I would have thought he had been in the spa with them.  There's nothing quite like the smell of very wet dog.
