Today is like my Friday, as I have tomorrow off.  I am going to Stratford with Derek and two friends, well, maybe one friend, as the other is very pregnant lol.  Will be nice to get away for a weekend :)  If only I can make it through today

Not calling a plumber yet.  I will manage until I can face the leak, maybe next week.  Perhaps it will magically stop in the meantime.

My neck and shoulders are killing me today.  Yesterday I was in so much pain when I left work it was ridiculous.  I think it was caused by my bra, which was putting a lot of pressure on my right shoulder.  When I took it off, the pain eased.  I guess I won't buy that style any more.  Too bad because the girls looked good in it.

Mountains of work and no help in sight.  I'd best get to it.

 I'm back - Clicker Expo was awesome as was expected, Z did me proud, and my visit with my parents was nice, though a bit short.  What did I miss while I was away?

 The significant other is leaving tomorrow for a long weekend away skiing with a bunch of people. I'm actually excited to have the house to myself. My goal is to do a 6ish mile walk with Ari on Saturday morning and then do some major spring cleaning and vacuuming! Plus about 50 billion loads of laundry.

I need to do a thorough cleaning this weekend, too.  BF's mom is coming for a visit Easter weekend, and I cannot have guests if my house is filthy, lol.

A friend of ours is supposed to go today to pick up the rest of the bushes and stuff we need to finish up that part of the yard project.  Yay!!  I can't wait til that's done, so I can finally put out the little solar lights that have been sitting in my garage for a year and a half.  It'll be nice to be able to see the two black dogs when they're outside at night, lol.

Julie, wow, that sounds like a fun weekend!  I hope the weather holds up for you!

Jamison was just out of it all day yesterday, but that's to be expected I suppose.  He didn't really eat anything either so I'm going to make him some chicken and rice later on to see if I can get him interested.  I'm pretty much over my freak out, but am still anxious to hear from the Vet tomorrow when they get the test results.

Paige, congrats on the great class!  I'm glad that it was enjoyable for you.

Bev decided that nobody else should be allowed in bed last night.  He wedged himself in between DH & I, and then layed there giving DH stink eye.  I made him move back to his side of the bed, & he decided to grump at Cher, so we ended up sleeping on the couch so he could have the amount of snuggling that he felt he deserved. 

I had a funny encounter this morning.  I saw a girl that I used to know years ago.  I absolutely hated her when I was younger.  I was pumping gas, & she was in her prison jumpsuit cleaning out a flower bed.  We both saw, & recognized each other, which was a little weird, & I even said hi.  I really wanted to laugh & make a bitchy comment, but instead, I took the high road.  I'm not sure about taking the high road.....

Posting on the fly here.......good wishes for anyone who needs them.

DH and DS had a very restful night and MIL is very perky this morning.  This may be her last hurahh, or maybe she'll rally.  Apparently people do leave hospice.  Other than to go to the undertaker.

DH is meeting with both the staff doctor and the facility social worker today.  Apparently this is a beautiful facilty.  A full sitting room with a pull out bed, a large shower.....they made up the bed for the guys last night, made sure they had plenty of pillows and blankets, fresh towels, etc.  And would NOT let them unmake the bed this morning.  The staff did it.

There is a full kitchen that they are allowed and encouraged to use, so they are in good hands.

I slept very well last night after the dogs stopped barking to go into the bedroom.  I didn't want to risk a repeat of Thor the bedhog so wanted to just sleep in my recliner.  Thor had other ideas, but DS handled him for me.

Off to work.
