I am excited to say that after a thorough inspection I do have a few blades of baby grass - not bad for 80lbs of seed

You have grass? Even baby grass? Misha and Yuri run around like the fiends they are and destroy it.
I have a 6 page paper and an exam on Shakespeare all due tomorrow. Then I rush home (1 1/2 hour drive) and do laundry and pack for a flight time of 10 am. I'm hoping after I get my teeth out I'll get to chill with a Misha-dog.
Today my parents said that they could keep him if we couldn't find an apartment to take big dogs. I basically told them I didn't trust them to take care of me, let alone my dog. Hoping I can finish his reconditioning (afraid of people, but getting better!!) and get his CGC this summer.
Glenda -- glad the guys made it there okay, and had some time with your MIL.

You do realize that talking about cheeseburgers
and fries to a person who is on a diet, AND stuck in the woods while
starving is like dangling a ritz cracker in front of a lost person in
the desert!
Not on a diet, per se, but I can't have cheeseburgers anymore (just turkey burgers, which are okay) ... so I'm totally envious of any one who's talking about cheeseburgers, let alone eating them around me. I'm starting to salivate now!

And yes when he opens his mouth the birds fly off
- only once a dove didn't, DH said it looked like it had a heart
attack.
I too would like to see a dove fly of, it sounds like it belongs in a magic show. Misha carries his eggs around, dropping them on the ground to break them... I'm wondering when he'll figure out that he could just bite them.
