Mindless TGIF!!

I'm sooo glad it's friday!

Derek and I were *supposed* to go for cake testing for our wedding cake after work, but he has decided he wants to reschedule lol.  GAAAAH! Come one! FREE CAKE! but I will oblige lol, but the next one I'm NOT cancelling!  especially since this place they want you to order your cake 6 - 9 months in advance lol. 

Tonight New Moon dvd comes out, and I told Derek he can come at midnight with me and wait in line lol.  I don't do lines.  I will probably wait till tomorrow :D

On another note, has anyone seen Maggiesmommy around lately? 

I miss Otis - if for no other reason then he kept the cats out of my bedroom.

I'm a bit down today, between the troubles with my drain, my furnace, and Agnes's almost complete loss of control over her bladder.  The lack of sleep due to the cats pestering me isn't helping.  I'm pretty much financially stretched to my limit, so all these large repair expenses that are looming are really getting me down.  I'm so in over my head with this house.

Sorry for the downer.

Big cyber hug coming at you Tina, girl.  Hang in there.  My poor, sweet Agnes - I just can't go there.  You're a much stronger woman than me.

On a completely different note, I had no idea you could get on the internet in less than an hour.  I love my new 'puter !!!

I am taking Agnes to the vet this afternoon because I'm wondering if she has a UTI.  She's drinking even more than usual and licking herself *there* quite a bit.  Maybe it's as simple as that.  My poor little brown friend - she seems to be acting okay otherwise.  I dunno.

 Taking Luke and the bad one (callie) back to the dog park today if my sister ever gets her butt dressed. Hoping my client can get in for horse back riding today so we can do that instead of hanging around the house. She hasn't been for a while, and I also haven't seen her ride for a while. Among other things, tomorrow is the first day of spring, which means free water ice. Woo hoo! Luke is willing to share his with all of those of you in need a treat.

Deb, don't forget to get pics of the puppies!  We'll have to imagine the puppy breath...

That's okay, I'm getting pretty used to imagining things. 

 ((hugs)) Its ok to be down once in awhile, I promise we don't mind. 

I've been taking Melatonin the last 3 nights, not sure if its helping yet or not.  Guess we'll see.  I'm ready for the weekend.

 I have an all day meeting today that I'm not prepared for. This will be fun

The dogs went swimming last night in a pond used by many ducks and geese. Now they stink to holy hell. I rinsed them off and blow dried them but it didn't make a difference. Guess I will be doing 4 doggy baths this weekend!

We're headed to Indianapolis either tonight or first thing tomorrow morning to look at a few houses. 4 weeks until 'the move'.

Got to talk step-dad into watching Hank, and we'll take the two little boogers with us. They love the drive.

Happy Friday everyone... Hit a deer yesterday on the way to a meeting. I'm ok but out of work for a few days on muscle relaxants and painkillers:(... deer died instantly thank goodness, my car... I find out today if it's totalled. Not sure if I want it to be or not, I have a one thousand dollar deductible! But I loved that car and must've jinxed myself talking about it a day or two ago saying how nice it is to have a trouble free, paid off car!

Hatching some baby chicks in the bator at school so I'll have more little fuzzy butts running around here in 20 days, FUN! Anyone nearby want some chicks?

Zowie Karen there are a ton of deer wrecks around here - very glad you are OK but major bummer about the car!  Fingers crossed for the best outcome!

I need to clean my house before my friends arrive - please send Bugsy some vibes to "get" that these guys are elderly and not too healthy so he doesn't bowl them over.....................

Karen - so glad that you weren't injured badly in the accident and sorry about the car.

I'm watching the morning news and there's a big warehouse fire going on and they're showing the firefighters on the aerial ladders over the roof. Ugh, DH is working and just the thought of him dangling off the end of one of those makes my stomach do flip flops.

I got an email msg showing my thyroid test results and they're quite low, especially compared to several months ago. I'm actually really thrilled about that and hope that adjusting my meds will take care of some of the symptoms I've been having. I'll find out when I go see my dr. next week and they'll have the full panel back by then.

I'm off today and it's a good thing. I slept horribly last night. Buffy woke me up barking at 12:30. Normally I wouldn't worry but for some reason I felt nervous that maybe someone was trying to break in. I finally fell back asleep and woke up drenched in sweat
