I leave for Clicker Expo at 9:30ish this morning!!!!!!!!!

    Have fun!

I'm nervous about leaving Charles home by himself today.   He's getting around fine and can do anything necessary for himself but I'm still worried.  He enjoyed watching the Spurs last night until they lost the game. lol   He really enjoyed dinner last night even though it was nothing fancy.

Yesterday was stressful for both of us in many ways.  Lots of little problems that seemed to snowball into bigger and bigger problems.  It'll all get worked out but I felt wiped out at the end of the day.  I got a good night's sleep and that always makes things better in my world. :)  He just got up and said he slept like a baby.

Have a great day everyone and don't let anything exciting happen while I'm gone. lol

Erin - Have a great time!!

Jackie - I'm glad to hear Charles is home!  I hope everything goes well today!

I know I'm going to have a crappy day.  It looks like the creep is set to be released.  I heard this yesterday that the review board has come up with their disposition, I don't have it yet in front of me, but it was apparently read to my mother by the victim services lady.  I knew he would at some point be released.  They can't keep him in there forever, but the stuff that was brought up at the last hearing (on Feb 26) was just horrific even worse than the last hearing a year ago, how can they consider releasing him?  It just doesn't make any sense.  And they say his release will be in the region I work in (and that my parents live in) or the GTA, which covers a HUGE area.  So damn frustrating, and I don't know how to figure this out.  my mother is intent on going to the media, but I don't know anymore.  BLAH.  Sorry for my rambling.

Lauren, that stinks big time.  Maybe Amanda will loan Brutus to you.

    Jackie, try to breathe!

    Erin, have a good time!

    Deb, how is Jamison today?

It's been in the mid-60s here the last few days.  My stupid female co-workers still feel compelled to crank the heat up to 75 because it is chilly in the morning.  By noon, the office is nearly 80 degrees.  I get so frustrated because the boss won't say a #*&%$#!! to them.  I've already turned the t-stats back down to 68.

Agnes is doing well.  She seems glad to have the house back to herself, though mostly she and Otis were separated.  Still having incontinence issues, which may be due to the fact that she doesn't have great feeling in her back end since the stroke she had in January.  She is going outside again mostly - not running away from the back door.

Courtney, I am sorry about your Grandma.  I hope the drama remains minimal. And I am sure you and b/f will make the best decisions for both of you with the new development re: grad school.

ACHOO!  Good morning!  Lots of pollen about, sniffle

Yea for Charles being home and yes breathe; inhale for 4, exhale for 5 (or is the opposite?) He will no doubt enjoy watching March Madness in the comfort of his home today.

Lauren that is just horrible! Not sure what else to say

Hope Jamison's lump is nothing, Courtney sorry about your grandmother, Erin have fun, and vibes to anyone I've missed

The neighborhood deer herd have clearly survived winter and hunting season - I walked down the drive to get my newspaper and all the tulip greens are gone.  And Mr B was on the prowl for ages, it fascinates me to watch dogs scent.

Looks like showers today which will be good for the grass seed I put down and then some glorious weather for a few days

    OK must press on

So the Vet was very underwhelmed with Jamison's bump, thank goodness.  She thought it was either an insect bite or maybe an ingrown hair follicle.  She put him on antibiotics as a precaution, and we'll have him re-checked in a week to make sure it's not getting any bigger or filling with fluids.

So after getting that good news, we happily made our way to our local pub and scarfed down a few pints and corned beef sammies.

I'm so happy to hear that the O-Man has found his forever home with such nice people!!

Jackie - take it one day at a time.  It'll all work out somehow.

Lauren - I don't know the whole back story about the creep, but I'm hoping he's learned his lesson and stays away from you and your family.

I'm am FINALLY getting a new computer at work today !!!

Lauren how scary, I would be scared too.  Best of luck!

Jackie I know Charles will be fine today, don't worry.  And Erin have a great time!

Maybe Amanda will have some advise...

I plan on going out side today and doing some yard work.  It's still very muddy here but finally with the snow gone I can start cleaning up the yard a bit.  I am suppose to be working but it's been quiet so I think I can grab a few minutes.

Two of my largest customers are merging, big news in my company - I hate mergers there is so much work involved.  My staff is anxious because they are afraid we will consolidate but..  I have a surprise for them, we just signed contracts for another huge client and the work flow will increase!  I plan on telling them in our staff meeting today that will lift spirits.

Lauren, I'm so sorry.  I totally agree with your mom about going to the media.  As much as I love Boo, I would definitely loan him out.

I am not sure if I am in allergy hell or hangover hell, but I feel like I've been hit by a Mack truck this morning.

DH made me cry this morning.  He emailed me this song, & said that he missed me.  Some days, it doesn't take much....

    I need a Jamison update!

Deb, because you are a first-time dog owner, I think it never really hurts to ask or have abnormal things checked out when it comes to Jamison.  We know all too well things that don't seem serious can be something and then we wish we "would have".  I will not go to the doctor myself unless I really have to, but where the dogs are concerned, get the hel! out of my way!

I'm surprised it's taken so long for you to get a new computer - I'd think the techno-geeks would have been terrified of you and your 2x4!  Stick out tongue

Cool, have fun. I am so excited about going on my trip next week. Wooo!!! In Hershey! I hope to get a clicker expo one day.

Gonna head out to Walmart and Lowes today. Luke is going to Lowes with us. I wish he could go to Walmart, but alas, he cannot. He also needs to go and take the picture for the invitation. I think maybe I'll take his shirt with, and put that one him. I wonder if I put his shirt and tie on, if they'll let him in Walmart.

Good wishes for all who need them!  I'm headed off on my trip - hopefully I can still find some time to check in while I'm gone - woo hoo for laptops lol.

    • Gold Top Dog

Let us know how the clicker expo is. I'm jealous! I'd love to go to that.

Jackie - so glad that Charles is home and on the mend.

Good to hear about Jamisons non-exciting lump :)

I am on hold with the IRS help center. Yeah. Get the 2 x 4 ready.

I'm voting hangover.  How many green sakes did you have?

Have fun Erin!  One of my friends I grew up with is going, too.  She's a dog trainer at a humane society in KY.  I'm jealous of both of you, lol.

Jackie, I'm sooo glad that Charles is home.  I know its rough, but you guys will get through the rehab part and don't worry, he'll be fine today.  He's not alone anyway, he has the puppahs to keep him company! Big Smile

Deb, that's great news about Jamison!

Ugh, I really need to make some AR collection calls but am soooo unmotivated to do it.  But, I need to rustle up some money, so I guess I'd better get to it. Bleh.

I know - sometimes I feel like an idiot running to the vet all the time, but when these issues arise - I have no point of reference, so I feel better just getting it checked out.  I guess it's a good thing that the Vet's office is literally 2 houses around the corner from my house and Jamison thinks its a treat to go there !!

You would think, right??  Because of my position, I have access to what is considered confidential national security information and due to all kinds of rules and regulations the disposal of my old hard drive became an issue.  The "powers that be" finally figured it out - it only took them about two years !!!!!!
