Yep Amanda that's just it.  I can't get myself to 'pull the trigger' I keep thinking about what could be the negative consequences.

FH thinks his interview went well.  The guy told him that there were 30 other people who where interviewed.  Good vibes and prayers that they pick him.  Its not the best odds, but they're not the worst either.

I'm sleepy.  I try to go to bed at a decent time, but I end up waking up 1-2 hours early and can't go back to sleep, but feel too tired to get up.  Its getting old.  I might have said that earlier, but I can't remember now.

I'm not happy about daylight savings either.  I have a hard time getting up when it is still dark out.  That's why I changed my schedule, but know this silly 'Spring forward' crap and its dark again.  Boo.

Did I tell ya'll that FH is going to sell Tuperware?  His getting started party is on the 27th and he's already got 3 orders from people who can't come, 2+ orders he will be getting from people who can't come, and 1 booking.  It would be really great if he could get this going, so if you can spare some good vibes for that too.

    Ok, back to work.....

Hey all, just checking in....system crash Friday ugh!  Havent had to deal with this problem in many years sooooo it is taxing my brain big time!  I am also getting toooo toooo old for this.  Still not completely back up yet, guess you could say we are limping, supposed to have help tomorrow with some new techs and equip.  Whew!

Hugs for those that need one, healthy vibes to all the sick furr babies.

WTG Callie, enjoy your trip and show!  BTW Happy Anniversary (late opps)!

It's the morning after the dreaded time change so predictably I *am* mindless today (a mindless, formless void???) Me too.  It's amazing how that little sixty minute difference can throw your whole system/day out of whack.

I have to be the only person on the planet who has never bothered to look at Craigslist.  Can anyone tell I'm NOT a shopper.  I am soooooooooo not a shopper.

I'll join you on the "not a shopper" list too. Big Smile I have never used Craig's List or e-bay.  If I absolutely have to shop, then I absolutely have to shop somewhere where I can take "whatever" back if something isn't right.

Lily's room is a disaster zone.

I bade her to clean it and she cried, stomped her feet, tossed her hair (that is SO annoying because it makes me totally jealous), and then went so to do.

Now...her BROTHER is in there picking up everything off the floor and putting it where she says to as she sits on the bed "arranging her stuffies"...I don't know whether to be upset at her taking advantage of her brother and maniplulating him into doing most all the work...or to admire her delegation and leadership skills?

That's a tough one, Gina!  LOL

Paige, I think I might know why Agnes doesn't want to go out the back door.  There are some small stones that might be hurting her paws.  Previously, they've been covered by snow, so it wasn't a big deal.  I'll have to look at it when I get home and rig something up.  You're a genious - thanks!

Gina - does that mean that Lily has also earned the title of "tellingmewhattodoperson"? LOL.

I've come to believe that old dogs force us to become creative problem solvers (if we weren't already) because of their unique issues and the creative ways they deal with them.  (If you can't do something solid or grated to ramp over the rocks, even a couple of old bathmats with the rubber backing will provide traction and if doubled-up would lessen the ouch-factor on her feet.  Then you can toss them in the washer when they get yucky.  Just a thought.  You'll get creative to solve this, I suspect. Cool)

I am alive, barely. BF has been instructed to come home with my migraine cure, yellow gatorade. In an odd text-message conversation, it's been decided that I have an alien baby growing in my head, named Muffy, that is causing my migraine.

    What about booties for Agnes?

Jan, you are a nut - you just had a baby and you are making banana bread. Our grocery stores have double-seater carts, but I guess WI is a little more rural. I live in a land of stay-at-home-moms.

I got an engagement card from my godparents, with a check for $200 :) BF and I decided that we are going to put it in savings. Wonder how long that'll last.

In case anyone missed it: neiko passed his level 1 search and rescue test! Yay. I'm so proud :)

Congrats. That is exciting. I remember when we passed ours. It's been several years now since we quit and Summer still will alert when we are walking somewhere and she catches a human scent but doesn't see the people.

A few weeks ago I had a slew of horrible migraines and I said to DH, "I think I'm allergic to my job!"  Ironically, last week I met one-on-one with my boss and he said we are going to have our air quality tested because several people in our department have been bothered with migraines, allergy-like symptoms, and just overall sickness not related to flu outbreaks.  I

It's called "sick building syndrome" and the cure usually involves money.  The air handlers are not doing their job, or something is giving off fumes that aren't good for people, of a fresh air intake is pulling in fumes from somewhere.  It's getting much more common with tighter buildings.  It can be caused by a printer working a lot.

So, my friend whose dog C had surgery to remove mast cells found out the lump was grade 2, but I have no further info than that. My other friend who is in the army full time as is her husband - although he's in Iraq again, so she's on her own with their 2yr old... well, she's pregnant, and is having really scary hormone problems.  She has no family there.  She's never sounded this out of control before - ever.  I wish I was closer to help her.

Send me the phone number, I'll pull the trigger for you, & I won't even tell you that I did it.  That way, your hands are clean.  Yes...I am that kind of friend.

Meg, I have found that orgasms help headaches subside.  Not sure if it works the same on migraines, but it's worth a try.

Paige, fingers crossed that C's tumor was fully excised.  I feel so bad for your friend.  That's a very stressful situation to be in.

I just got home from an absolute trainwreck of an obedience class.  It was with a potential new trainer at our facility.  I was the "undercover" person, who was supposed to ask questions, because there were questions about how the potential trainer dealt with questions & varying methods of training.  She's a yank & crank trainer, & she had the nerve to slap my hand for using a tug to motivate Cher.  I attempted to stay calm, & nicely explained that I use rewards with my dogs because I don't believe that they should be expected to work without some kind of payment.  An arguement ensued, & came to a head when I explained that, if I were expected to work without some type of payment  that the only thing that I would be doing was, PG version.... "cooking" with myself.  Apparently, she had had enough of my mouth because she started screaming at me, & at that point, our head trainer came down & let her know that I was the person who teaches puppy classes, & that her services were not needed.  I am going to have to post a thread about it tomorrow, becasue it was waaay to screwy to not share with everyone.

Holy moley - sounds wild!  I look forward to the rest of the story tomorrow!

Bloodwork sent out on the Chow boy. So glad I did, as I bathed him this evening and his hairloss was worse than I thought. He is really lacking his 'britches' in back and his rear legs are completely lacking an undercoat..there's just guard hairs. And his coat is just dry feeling in general. It was not like this when I bathed him a month and a half ago.

Not that I want anything to be wrong, but a thyroid issue would be a relatively easy fix.  Should know on that by the end of the week.  If it's not that, we'll have to look into what else could be the cause.

Such a silly issue, but I'm just ridiculously distressed over this :p
