Monday - 100% mindless

    Monday - 100% mindless

I hope our New Jersey i-doggers and others in flooded regions are safe and sound.

I overslept this morning and I hate that feeling of leaping out of bed - holy crap, I should've been up an hour ago!

Agnes has been having a few urination accidents again, not sure why.  Then the other night, she got all the way to the back door, I opened it, and she ran to another part of the room and peed on the floor instead.

I hope everyone's pups are doing well, and that the humans are, too.

Sonja Ellis is very pretty!  Willa is so cute in the shots with her.  Rupert almost looks like "oh no, another one?".  Janice, you and Mr. Janice make beautiful babies!

Otis has a potential adopter coming on Wednesday.  Hopefully he will be feeling better.  I told the lady he's sick with kennel cough, but on meds, that she could wait a week until he's better.  She seems worried that he'll get adopted by someone else, so she's still going to come meet him anyway.  We'll see.

This morning came way too early but the coffee is starting to kick in. Good thing because I have to give yet another presentation in about an hour.

I still have not seen baby janice! Is there a pic somewhere?

In case anyone missed it: neiko passed his level 1 search and rescue test! Yay. I'm so proud :)

Lily started coughing last night. I think I'm going to have 4 dogs with kennel cough by the end of this week. Ugh.

Good luck Otis, time to turn on the charm :)  I hope you're feeling better.

Amanda, I wouldn't even have to spend the tax $ on that.  A friend of mine is just itching for me to give him the OK.  He lives in the same, very small town, and sees him about 1x a week.  He never liked the STBX and would love the opportunity to get a few shots in.  Can we say, tempting?

FH has an interview....right now.  Any good vibes would be much appreciated.  I had screwed up on FB last week and said it was then, but really, its today.

On another note, FH has decided to fight for primary custody.  I think its the best choice, but I know she's gonna be a raving lunatic about it.

That's all for now, I'm sure I'll be back later, b/c I can see today being pretty mindless for me.

Yes, here in NDR, the thread title is Sonja Ellis.

    Good job, Neiko!

Steph, good luck with two sets of ex's.  Egawd, that blows big time!  Don't you wish everyone could just move on and stop the games?

Also, good thoughts for FH's interview.

     Seriously!

Tina, could Agnes be disgruntled about the weather? I know with Rascal, we have to keep him crated and watch him like a hawk when it's raining outside, because he does not. want. to. get. wet. When it's raining, if he sees me pick up the leash, he runs away. Maybe Agnes just doesn't feel up to outside bathrooming?

It's about 99% certain now that BF and I will end up going to grad schools in different states. I'm really, really upset, but trying to get a grip and not think about it too much. Unless something changes dramatically (like we get in to another school at the last minute), this is very obviously the best choice for us. But.... yuck. :(

Along those lines, I was thinking that when I move, I should probably get an apartment walking distance from campus so I can come home at lunch to let Rascal out. That sounds like the best plan for the pup, right? Everyone says I will have very flexible hours, so I might be able to just work from home in the afternoons or something, but I get nervous about the little guy... he's not used to being alone that much anymore!

Went to see Alice in Wonderland Saturday in 3D. I enjoyed it! The theater was packed and people were lining up to get in 50 minutes before showtime, which I thought was a bit silly. Really glad I got to visit with the Mom over the weekend. She made me laugh and feel better after the grueling week I had last week, which is on track to continue this week it seems.

I have a job interview lined up for tomorrow, but I am getting weird vibes over the woman I've been in contact with. Her emails are not terribly professional in nature, which is concerning. Her font choice, lack of a signature and font color of blue just don't give me good feelings. She's also hasn't responded to my email when I asked to confirm where their office was located. I found the job through Craigslist and NH craigslist 99.7% of the jobs are fraudulent. The interview is tomorrow, and their office is close to where I currently work. I'll be swinging by to make sure the office even exists. Oh yeah, they have no website either which is very very odd. I do have their address though and a phone number. She hasn't asked for any personal identifying information or for me to run a credit check (the common scam at the moment), so those are positives.

...and now back to work. Weeeeee!

It's the morning after the dreaded time change so predictably I *am* mindless today (a mindless, formless void???)

I have to be the only person on the planet who has never bothered to look at Craigslist.  Can anyone tell I'm NOT a shopper.  I am soooooooooo not a shopper.

You know, Courtney, I am not sure.  She is incontinent, but some herbs have greatly helped, though she sometimes has accidents (like leaking when she's asleep).  As far as the rain, she'll walk in the rain, so not sure about the pee thing.  Maybe she's a bit stressed because of Otis, though he's not gone in the house. I wish I could read her mind.

Sharon, that potential employer does sound a bit suspicious.  Don't go if you don't feel safe.

Callie, I actually found my current job through Craigslist! However, once the economy tanked, the number of legit jobs to non-legit jobs has become very skewed, and not in favor of anyone seeking employment. It really sickens me how many people are out there, who just want to steal someone's identity and take advantage of people desperate for work.

I've never bought anything off Craigslist, but I've known plenty who have. I hate shopping myself. In fact, I'm dreading having to hit up the store to buy a new pair of black pants for the interview (and I really need them anyway). My pair of black pants that DO fit, the zipper is busted and I have another pair that are too small for me right now.

    Aw, Courtney, that sucks.

I woke up at 4AM with the. worst. migraine. ever. I felt so horrible I was in tears - I couldn't get up to get some medicine, so I woke BF up and he got me my pills and some water. I was and still am so nauseated - bleck. I think it's going to be a nap day.

I hope Jewliee's pack and Otis feel better!

I am totally not using Amazon Marketplace any more - the last two orders both books have never arrived. I'll stick with Amazon.

Its a super day - a bit chilly - but wonderful.  I woke up real early and went for a run without B and then took him for his walk later.  now I am bound and determined to finish all this mess I have been working on.

I hope all the kennel cough pups heal quickly!  Neiko good job!!

We have some tree frogs that chirp all night and it is driving DH nuts - I am so used to sleeping with earplugs for his snoring I just do the same for them.

My mom is traveling from PA to LI, NY - a few good thoughts for the old bird that the roads are OK.  I was hoping she'd stay put one more day.

So after rejoicing that we had our longest walk yet yesterday and he didn't seem sore he decided to go beserk this morning and wound up wiping out in some mulch, not once but twice and is now gingerly walking.

    This clearly will never end!

OK if I am going to get this junk done I had better get to it!

For those involved I sent Jackie a card in today's mail and am sorting out the gifts

Are there stairs off that door?  Even one or two?  Sometimes the anticipation of walking down the stairs can be too much??  Poor girl.

Yesterday I let the dogs out to pee/poop, everyone came back in except Henry who is usually the fastest pottier in the west.  I called him, he looked up at me like "What, I'm not doing anything....err..." So I called him again and he excitedly ran inside.  Five seconds later I hear him starting to ralph in the living room, so I ran there to rush him back outside.  Poor guy.  He was trying to say he wasn't ready to come in yet and here Auntie Paige made him come inside.

Steph, good luck to your FH at his interview today!

So, it's clear the Luck o' the Irish gave us the gorgeous weather on Saturday, because it's been nothing but dreary and wet snow ever since.  I'm sipping coffee with irish creme to try to get myself back into the spirit.  I'd rather have the coconut creamer.

Meg, I'm sorry about your migraine.  I've had weird stabbing-out-of-nowhere-did-something-just-bust-in-my-skull kind of headaches, but never a migraine and I don't know how you guys deal with them.  It sounds horrific, from every person who has described theirs.  I really hope you feel better quickly.

CONGRATULATIONS NEIKO & JULIE!!!  Well deserved!

If you aren't willing to "pull the trigger" so to speak, send me your friend's number & I'll take care of everything for you! Devil

Tina, I hope that Otis gets adopted!  If someone is that adamant about seeing him, while he's sick, for fear that he'll adopted, you feel like she really is interested.

I am in desperate need of a nap, & a drink.  Not sure either is going to happen, but I can hope...

Sending good vibes for all the people and pups that need it today.

Julie - Congrats for you and Neiko!!

Jackie - I hope all went well with Charles being at home yesterday. I peeked at the MC thread a bit and saw you were going to give him a haircut. Hopefully you're better at that than I am. I used to cut my ex's hair until I managed to snip a chunk of his ear. Eek!

We were enjoying a quiet evening last night when Sassy decided to throw up all of her dinner and maybe some of her breakfast. What a mess. After we got that cleaned up we watched the Informant. Not a bad movie but not very action packed.

I want to see Alice in Wonderland. That was one of my favorite fairytales when I was a kid.

It is gorgeous here today. Cold but sunny and it'll be 70ish later today. Yay!!
