I SWEAR! These snowbirds/spring breakers drive slower every year! GET OFF MY ROADS!

    bwa ha ha ha

here it isn't even visitors - they have all been out for a Sunday drive since Friday - I was ready to kill on Friday.  I mean pardon me for knowing where I am going and wanting to get there sooner rather than later

It is another beautiful day here - and I am still plugging away on a computer far away from the sun Sad

I was working in the yard over the weekend and got a splinter in my hand - the wood went all the way in so I can see it but no chance of getting it out, it is red and sore today.  I hope it works its way out.

Downside of the great weather is that my allergies are kicking in sniffle, sniffle, honk, honk - thank goodness for soft tissues

DH a little less Storm today which is nice

Bugsy was mad as you know what when I left him home again for my run.  I am hoping he sleeps a lot today and we can see how he is tonight then walk him tomorrow.  Paige how is Patrick?

That is all I had best get back to WORK

On another note. I'm getting a new aussie-boy Wednesday, so be prepared for pictures!

    Whee..I can't wait.

Sorry to hear about Tiki's tumble and the protein powder mess. We have a few canisters of the same stuff and DH tends to be messy with it. The worst is that he'll drink 1/2 a glass and leave the rest in the frig and the glass just gets crusty. Blech!

Tina - I'm so happy that Harley has a forever home now. Sorry about the owie with the finger though.

I'll be thinking about Jan all day today. I hope it all goes smoothly and we'll soon be oohing and aahing over baby pics.

I went to bed early last night yet I feel like I'm half asleep. Maybe it was too much sleep or maybe it's because the weather has turned gray again. I need to not think about it only being Monday and just keep putting one foot in front of the other today. Sleep

Haha Jewliee, just picture my kitchen, vanilla-scented. Lucky me, the powder is tan, just like our countertops and tile! I keep finding more. BF better not get any ideas from your DH, Cathy. The GNC salesman gave him a 'free' shaker (free...pshh) so he carries that around.

Tiki seems to have recovered. I decided we all needed some fresh air so I took her for a ride when I took Pi for his long walk. I swear, people are SO disappointed when they look in the Wike and see that it's a dog, not a baby. A lady rode by on a bike and turned around to look twice LOL.

I am going for a run on the beach - it's so nice out here! I might even have to break out the sunscreen.

I am going to look at/test drive a motorcycle at lunch today.  DH has been wanting a bike

I saw this yesterday outside the Subway - so weird.

His room is ready......the room formerly known as the office, so that required a fair amount of moving stuff around!
You know what I thought immediately - what a good thing it is that you have a house where he can come, rather than those days when you were in the RV.

Good vibes going out to Jano and her babykins - I hope all is going smoothly and everybody around her is healthy (especially DH and her mom)

Sorry for the other sickies here - jaw pain and colds alike.  Sadface.

    shadowsgin
my first Daffodil bursted out in a bloom on Sat morning!  Spring is on it way!

YAY!!!  I took G for a walk down to the park yesterday and looked high and low for blooming flowers - not a crocus or daffodil in sight.  Now today the weather has turned gloomy/overcast and it must have rained last night.

Agnes and Patrick must be related in the "Bone in my mouth means I can no longer hear."  I'm not sure how Patrick's leg is today.  I leave early in the morning and he wouldn't go outside when the rest of the dogs did - he was standing next to his mom's bed barking at HER.  I have no idea.  He's a little weird.

Congrats to Harley getting adopted, and Otis having a new foster home to feel safe in.  Poor Tiki girl fallin' down the stairs.  Maybe daddy's protein shakes will help you build muscles, too? (kidding)

Will have to go check out the Jackie & Charles thread.  Good luck on the house, Erin!!

River woke me up way early for a potty break, so my sleep was patchy.  I'm so tired.

Good joint vibes to Bugsy, and feel better vibes for Tiki.

Hope everyone has a good day!

Aww, the oldest person in America died yesterday - she was a New Hampshire-ite, too.  Just 6 days younger than the oldest living person in the world.  http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/35764053/ns/health-aging

Coffee time, please... Coffee I am dragging!

Do we have a baby yet?

    Paige, how's Patrick today?

I've had too much coffee.  I have terrible jitters right now.

Haha, I was thinking the same thing, only for tomorrow. Minus the running part, plus my crazy mutt.

Good luck with the headache and jaw pain Jewliee - I hope it's gone by now! Also I hope you are feeling at least a bit better by now Heather!

Good vibes for a safe trip for your son Glenda, it sure is nice that he can come stay with you while he heals.

Ms. Tiki - you are too cute and little to tumble down stairs! I hope you are doing alright this afternoon after your nice outing. I'm giggling about the powder mess Meg - sounds like my FH, I swear he cooks with his eyes closed all the time!

Sharon, I hope the benedryl helps Ari. We just got Timmy over a four month battle of itchiness! What a pain that was!

Fingers crossed for your counter offer today Erin :D

Tina, I'm super glad to hear about Harley - it's no wonder he got adopted so quickly, being that cute and all! Sorry to hear about the finger though - I know what that's like. Sadie has had that selective hearing before with a deer bone she found and chomped down on me.

I'm thinking about Jano today - hopefully baby comes smoothly!

I think I've covered everyone now! Phew. hehehe.

I am just thrilled with all this sunshine we've been getting, we've had about a week of it, and it's supposed to be 12 degrees tomorrow!!!! That is not quite normal around here, but I'll take it.

Ugh. I get sick and tired of my co-worker and her smoke breaks, since 9:00 she's had 6 of them! I went on lunch and told her if a certain person called, I NEEDED info from him and gave her a note of what I needed - he called and she was on ANOTHER smoke break and put the phones on hold. It's probably definitely not necessary to have a cigarette every 20 minutes - and you wonder why you are always sick!

The dogs are all sunning themselves on the deck - wish I could do that instead of running errands, but at least Z can come along and that always makes errand running much more fun!

I joined a group on facebook ("Hey facebook, breastfeeding is not obscene!" - facebook bans breastfeeding pics but uses breasts in advertising - such a crappy double standard imo) and DH's dad commented on it hilariously.  That amused me.

    More good thoughts to Jan!

My friend has one of those. You've seen our ural right? its rad.

loved this weekend! Sunny!! yay. got lots of seeds planted & stuck in my cheapo mini green house, hey it works lol.  Took Zoey out to experience new environments, it was great.

BF made some progress with interacting with his dogs, I was playing with Zoey & he brought bella in ( Amber was put in a crate with a kong) and started playing with her.yay.

my Bathroom is officially DONE! well almost, but done to the point where I can finish it!! haha, so I'm priming it today! yay! once thats done I can start using the shower again.

the new round of black belts had their ceremony on Sunday, it was fun to see their ceremony & videos, brought back lots of memories. Also got to see my other fellow black belts that  haven't seen in AGES.

also wired up my aux fan on my car to run off of a switch, it didn't work before at all ( so it ran HOT last summer), tested the fan, it worked, so we just wired up a switch so I can turn it on & off from the dash. so cool. Can't wait to see how much cooler it'll run. I'm one of those crazy people that stares at the temp gauge constantly!!

Thanks for all the well-wishes for Tiki! She's such a princess, I swear. I've been carrying her up and down the stairs all day :)

I used to be like that!! I had an old Volvo with a radiator leak that would cost more than the car was worth to fix, so I just drove around with coolant and water in my trunk and topped it off when I remembered. Being a teenager I used to forget and overheat the car, so I'd have to pull over, wait for it to cool off a little, and then open the radiator with a big beach towel LOL.

Nope.  When you say ural, I think of the Ural Mountains, since I'm studying Russian geography.

No idea about Patrick.  I posted above, but the more I think about it, I think the barking at his mom was the one he makes when he wants/needs help to get up onto the bed.  Which isn't good - because it means his leg was hurting.

In the meantime, Mayday was at "school" this weekend and was the "friendly stranger" dog for a group of CGC takers.  I'm told she was pretty steady on her feet, considering she was pretty much paralyzed just a few weeks ago.  Also, my friend's dog w/the mast cell tumor is home and the tumor was really small, so fingers still crossed with prayers that the pathology report come back with decent news.  Callie, I'm going to be emailing you for the info you offered up in Sillysally's thread.
