I was up half the night coughing.  I hate this cold!!  Its a bad one.  I am sooo tired this morning...can someone pass that IV coffee, please???

I woke up at 5.  Really too early to be up, so laid back down and then of course didn't get up until after 7.  Now I feel like a slug.  Don't know why I can't snatch a few more zzz's without the body thinking it was supposed to start over at no sleep.  Sigh.

Today will be "more clouds than sun" and we've got rain coming in for the next few days.  Bleh.

DS should be leaving NYC this morning.  He's been spending some time with one of his 1/2 brothers.  Chris and his gal are both actors, doing what it takes to pursue their dreams, so it's good for Mike to be around people with such positive attitudes.  Plus, it's the Big Apple, and he's into gigantic cities like that....very unlike his mother!  Today he'll drive down to VA and at least spend the night with his OTHER 1/2 brother.  The former step mom is out of town until the end of the week, so he's thinking he'll just spend the night with John then come down here and see her on his way back sometime.  So, as it stands now, will see him either late tomorrow or sometime Wednesday.

His room is ready......the room formerly known as the office, so that required a fair amount of moving stuff around!  That I did a little bit at a time since the office stuff is rather heavy!  I washed all the bedding (already clean) and hung it on the line to give it that wonderful fresh smell.  Did that to our bedding yesterday too.  Heavenly to settle into sweet smelling linens!

I've got a mega busy day today and yet, here I am.  Sigh.  Off to the grind!

I am going to look at/test drive a motorcycle at lunch today.  DH has been wanting a bike, & I know the person selling this one.  If it works out, then DH can have it as an anniversary gift.  If it doesn't work out, then I may just get him undies & call it good!

BF is on a health kick. I will not mention the obscene amount of money he spent at GNC, but now we are the proud owners of a huuuuge container of that protein powder stuff that you mix with milk and drink. Gag. Apparently BF made himself a shake this morning before he went to the pool, and decided to do it blindfolded, because there was white, vanilla-scented powder EVERYWHERE. Including the clean dishes in the dish drain. Why?!

Mondays are evil. I have a ton of work to do here at the office, but lack all motivation. Poor Ari is suddenly itchy, and her troublesome ear is giving her problems again (b/c her dumb human forgot to flush it and dry it after she charged into the river this past weekend). She got me up around 3am scratching and biting herself to pieces. We've never done Benedryl with her, but I'm going to pick some up to see if it helps. I wonder if it's contact allergies of some sort. It's been warm here, getting muddy, and goodness knows what she has rolled in. She did get an oatmeal bath this weekend.

I never really went back to bed after she woke me up. Blech. Anyway...

Netflix recently put up several Rescue Me seasons for instant viewing, and I'm hooked. For someone who doesn't even have television service, between Netflix and Hulu I'm really am a TV addict. Just don't ask me if I saw such and such new show lol!

Seriously tired today.

I had a great weekend spending time with Kate.  We went shopping and had mani/pedis done on Saturday and then we all went out for brunch at the Cheesecake Factory on Sunday.  They have some really, really good bloody marys !!

Jamison got a bath this weekend and is back to smelling somewhat normal and not like a funky, rotting piece of stinky cheese.

Morning all,  I had a wonderful weekend.  I worked in the yard 4 hours Sat., and 5 hours Sun.!!! Woooohoooo!!!! I loved it.  I am very sore and tired today but it was sooo worth it.   I got so much cleaned up, my first Daffodil bursted out in a bloom on Sat morning!  Spring is on it way! 

We are supposed to have rain the next 3 days, that's ok with me sooo much better than snow!

Prayers to Jan, easy C-Sect and a happy healthy baby!

 We got word on our house offer this morning - looks like we now know their minimum they want to come away with, so we'll be making a counter offer today.

That's right!  Today is "lack of labor" day for Jan!  I'm still thinking that baby could be a boy.....after all, they have been known to carefully hide their boy bits!

Harley was adopted Saturday and now I am fostering his brother Otis.  Otis was crated, but barked until about 3:00a, so I got up and put him in my room on the floor (made him up a cushy bed).

Agnes bit my thumb but good on Saturday morning.  We were walking, she scavanged a chicken bone off the ground, I open her mouth to get it out, she closed down to try to keep it.  I got the bone out but, unfortunately I didn't realize my thumb was part-way in her mouth.  She got me with her molars, broke skin, and it hurt like an SOB.  Man that old girl with mostly missing and broken teeth still did a number on me. I was crying it hurt so bad.

In other Agnes news, she is indifferent to Otis but has diarrhea again.  Now that the snow is melting, she is eating dirt again outside.

I hope Janice's delivery goes smoothly and baby arrives with little difficulty.

Agnes !!!!  Hasn't anyone ever told ya that you're not supposed to bite the hand that feeds you ???  I feel for you though, Tina.  Jamison also manages to find every single speck of food left anywhere on the street.

Yeah, we've been working on 'leave it, drop it', but when it comes to bones, she suddenly goes completely deaf!  LOL

Just because you are on vacation, does not mean the rest of the world is too! I SWEAR! These snowbirds/spring breakers drive slower every year! GET OFF MY ROADS!

On another note. I'm getting a new aussie-boy Wednesday, so be prepared for pictures!
