Sharon, I'm a 5am runner. I usually have a bananna & peanut butter, or a piece of toast.

Stacey, I've been to Belize & Costa Rica. Initially, DH & I wanted a destination wedding, but in the end, the ease of a Vegas wedding won out. (FWIW, a Vegas wedding isn't as easy as I had expected.)  I have stayed here, & it was amazing.  I have also stayed in a guest house there.  VERY CHEAPLY!  Both times, I've been to Belize, I have had a great time.  It is absolutely beautiful there.  I went on a 3 day rainforest hike in Costa Rica, which was great.  I didn't actually stay anywhere though.  I went with a guide, & we camped, so I'm no help there.

I have the sweetest DH in the world. I got breakfast in bed this morning. Then when I went into the restroom to find a dozen rose bushes. When we bought the property, I told him that I wanted a rose bed in a specific area of the yard. I haven't gotten around to building it yet. I was happy with the roses, but then he led me out on the deck to point out the new flower bed that he had built, apparently overnight. I also got a very sweet letter from him.

Today was sunny & warm, which was great. Until we had a mishap in the yard. Bev & Cher were being zoomin idiots, & ended up colliding. Cher rolled 3 times, & Bevo ended up airborne, & crashing into a tree. Bev hopped up limping, & Cher stayed down, screaming like a banshee. I had to take Cher to the vet to have an eye re-stitched because the collision tore 4 stitches out. Our acupuncturist was coming over to work on one of the horses, so I called her to see if she could do Bev while she was here. Everybody is fixed now, but they have thrown a wrench into my plans for the week.

I leave for San Francisco tomorrow afternoon. Bev & Cher were going to fly up with me, but now, I'm afraid to take them along, just in case there are problems as a result of their crash. The vet who does acupuncture on Bev has offered to keep them for me. Her old boxer just passed away, so she's home alone, & willing to keep them. I think that I'm going to let her keep them, & take Shooter with me. That should make things managable for DH while I'm away.

Had a great time today with jewelee and her mom. :)  Took some pics and so did she but I'm too tired to post anything. Hopefully I got a few good ones. 

 Had a busy Valentine's day. Hubby came home from work early so we could spend some time together. Ate dinner out and finished it off with a stop for ice cream. Got home with plans to curl up on the couch and watch a movie, but that got derailed real quick.

I fed the dogs and started on switching out the bedding in the puppy pen when Keela threw up - on the couch. She then threw up again, and again and again. By now I've not only got a huge pile of laundry to wash because she has thrown up on every blanket in the house, but I'm freaking because her gums are so pale and she's shivering. She had her rabies vaccine on Wednesday and had a rather violent reaction to it that evening. I've kept a real close eye on her but she has been doing okay up until this evening. I'm just hoping I'm being an overly anxious owner. She's getting her milk thistle mixed in with canned food and I'm hoping it is just a combination of it being too rich and her eating too fast. Her gums pinked back up and she wanted to play with the puppies about an hour later, but I'm still worried. A trip to the vet tomorrow for blood work seems like a good idea right now. I hope they can get us in.

 A little late, but today Simba's friend Journey came over. They played for about two hours and he's still tired. Ever since getting back up he's been very calm...it's a bit creepy. :P I made him pupcakes(pics are up) and he loved them. :) I also gave him his v-day present, which I will take a pic of later. It's also Toby's(my dog who passed away recently) birthday today, or well yesterday now. Weird not celebrating his birthday, really missed him today. :-/
